A Democratic Triple Play Blagojevich, Richardson & Corzine

Will former Democratic Governor Bill Richardson soon join former Democratic Governor Rod Blagojevich in the federal pen? Will they ask one another when and if former Democratic Governor Jon Corzine will join them. The Wall Street Journal reports that in addition into probing Richardson's dubious campaign fund expenditures federal investigators are now looking into a "pay to play" scheme Richardson allegedly participated in where $2 billion of public money was placed into investment funds run by money managers who in turn agreed to pay millions of dollars in consulting fees to high-profile Democratic fund-raisers and other supporters of Richardson. Yesterday Jon Corzine testified before the Senate and explained he had no idea what happen to the $1.2 billion that vanished from his customers' accounts as he had resigned from MF Global and could no longer access his records and emails. But the money disappeared before he resigned and one would think he would be a little curious about were he could have misplaced the money. This is not negligence it downright theft.

Is it just me or does anyone else see a pattern here?

  1. They don't make Democrats like they used to. They just don't.

Bill Richardson once seemed like a good guy. Guess I was wrong about him. I am not all that surprised about Blago or Corzine though.

  2. No, you're right. Some of my dearest friends are liberal Democrats but not in the same vein as these people, who will lie, cheat, steal and try to manipulate every stinking thing about your life.

I too am disappointed with Bill Richardson. He seem like a real guy. I always like Geraldine Ferraro, who died before she could disappoint.
