You're fired! Now get out!

The phony baloney liberal charge that Obama hasn't done enough is blowin' smoke. He's done more damage to fulfill liberal wishes than they ever dreamed. The problem is that liberal philosophies simply do not work. How disappointing for them. But ultimately, regardless of all the grousing, those liberals are going to cave and go along with Obama on anything he wants. They're shocked, SHOCKED, that Obama's a politician.
Yesterday the White House admitted if you lower taxes if spurs economic growth and leads to great tax revenue. Larry Summers admitted as much. Over at CBS:
He says the federal budget deficits will be higher in the short run but lower in the long run. He said that's because the tax cut extensions and other provisions have a lifespan of two years or less.
But still, liberals really care about class warfare, what they term as "economic fairness," meaning take money from high and productive earners. Over at the Washington Examiner.

iberals are getting a taste of what conservative critics saw close up during the 2008 campaign and the health care fight: Obama's intolerance toward dissent, perhaps rooted in a personal arrogance and too much self-regard. His personality leads him to call names and question critics' motives, and it also makes him bristle at outside pressure. [SNIP]
When his base disagrees with him, then Obama apparently believes it's because they're too "purist" or too "sanctimonious" and just don't appreciate the political realities of compromise and negotiation.
So liberals are stung by the fact that The One slings mean comments at them when they disagree with him, rather than argue reasonably.
Meanwhile the House passed the DREAM act, with the wicked witch of San Francisco claiming that the crooks who are here illegally, committing crimes and "borrowing" jobs, are like the early settlers of this country. The House act even overlooks misdemeanor crimes that illegals commit; it pretty much sweeps anyone who wants amnesty in, regardless of criminal record.
It looks like it won't pass in the Senate, partly because the ever mindful of election senators know they're up for reelection in two years. What about what's good for the country?
It's not that we dislike immigrants. Many immigrants are more appreciative of this wonderful country than its native citizens.
But to come here illegally and drain its resources, try to vote, protest and scream against its policies when the countries they left have stricter immigration policies than this one is wrong. It's a fraud.
Here's a thought. Why is it a problem for someone to live and work in this country legally, without being accorded welfare, voting privileges, etc, with a worker visa? Why is it so hard for people to work here LEGALLY? How is it possible that someone can legally marry or be married to an American citizen for years, but be denied the ability to live here with their spouse and become a citizen? Something's wrong with a system that takes so long to resolve these issues.
It is understandable that people who are desperate enough to leave a beautiful, war-torn, desperate country like Mexico will want to come here. It just has to be done legally; all citizens should be held accountable for behavior, not just legal citizens.
This issue should be a priority of the new Congress.
But, hey, lame duck, GET OUT! You've been FIRED and you need to GET OUT NOW.
  GET OUT!
