Bahaha! Carty's part of No Labels

So this new group No Labels is supposed to be so objective and focused on being sure that no one uses bad language to describe their opponents, the present administration ("enemies, terrorists, hostage takers") apparently excluded. It launches today.
  From their website:
We are Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are united in the belief that we do not have to give up our labels, merely put them aside to do what’s best for America.
Most of the Founding Members seem to be liberals, not including David Frum, who claims to be conservative but is one of the acceptable Inside the Beltway elite. Lots of namby pamby politicians, most of whom are more sympathetic to the left than the right, are part of this endeavor.
You can look at those founding members here; note that a founding member's recent book includes the title " Wingnuts: How the Lunatic Fringe is Hijacking America." What chu wanna bet the lunatic fringe is right wing?
Anywho it was announced on tv this morning that Carty Finkbeiner, yes, THAT Carty Finkbeiner, is attending this moderate, No Labels, move us forward not right or left conference.
Who is this Carty Finkbeiner, you may ask if you don't live around here?
Well, he's that wacky lovable former mayor of Toledo. You know. The one who, when citizens tried to block additional flights to Toledo Express because of the noise to neighborhoods in the pathway, suggested deaf people live near the airport since they won't be able to hear the planes' approach.
The one who has a really nasty temper, as proven to citizens time after time.
The one who called Toledo's current mayor, his opponent at the time, "King Kong." Uh hum.
The one who squandered taxpayer dollars.
The one who wants the Fairness Doctrine reinstated because he didn't like WSPD's coverage of him.
  You know, that one.
The one who isn't left, or right, but just....forward.
Adding credibility to No Labels. Carty Finkbeiner.
In the interest of leaning forward and not being too critical, here's their touchy feely Sigur Ros video.
  Remember: all is not lost!
