Obama strikes deal with Republicans, nastily denounces them

Wow. If you heard the speech Obama just gave about the compromise for the tax cuts, it was really remarkable how nasty Obama was about the Republicans' working with him on this. (Waiting for transcript.) In addition, he referred to the Bush tax cuts as "arrangements that were made in 2001," a nifty way to avoid giving any compliment whatsoever to his predecessor and in keeping with his mean-spirited and petty condescension toward 43.
In the oddly stilted manner of speaking Obama adopts when he discusses something that is relevant to the lives of the American people and not flowery with hopenchange lingo, he revealed, as always, that this was something that means absolutely nothing to him personally and that it was something over which he seems to feel both aggressive and angry.
He really doesn't have a cooperative bone in his body. What's ridiculous is that, after criticizing the Republicans for being political, he himself feels above the same rules and becomes political.
On the other end of the spectrum, Michelle Malkin criticizes the deal. The truth is that Republicans simply don't have the clout to get what they want, given the defection of the RINO George Voinovich. Can't wait to get rid of that dude.
