Corrupt democrats in disarray

So democrats/Obama/Biden have visited Ohio 18 times in the last 18 months. It appears they're desperate to keep their clutches on Ohio. In fact, Niles Gardiner at The Telegraph says the left is facing a meltdown of epic proportions:
Over the weekend I wrote a piece on how some liberal elites, not least atThe New York Times, remain in denial over the scale of the disaster the Left is facing at the polls in November. Well, I hope they’re taking a close look today at the latest Gallup poll, which is enough to make any White House adviser weep.
The One is marching around the country, trying to scare younger voters into wanting to vote for hopeychangey again, and basking in the sunshine of the love of young heads full of mash. Old Biden is screaming at democrats to buck up, and complaining about Republicans. The Hill quotes him as saying:
“If I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I am going to strangle them,” Biden said at a fundraiser in Minnesota, according to a pool report.
Let's look at the issue of the budget, which, of course, Biden's party didn't even pass this year because they knew how bad it is. Who's to blame for the monstrous spending and lack of budgetary constraint? Though democrats, who've been IN CHARGE of SPENDING since 2007, try to blame Bush, the truth is that CONGRESS spends the money and the president signs the bill. Bush TRIED repeatedly to get Congress to deal with the Fannie/Freddie mess, but Barney Fwank and Chris Dodd repeatedly said everything is fine, no meltdown was coming and everyone deserved a house, whether they could afford it or not.
AOL News has an interesting little article on who's to blame for the mess, as the author John Merline  puts it. Here's his conclusion:

n other words, if Obama had simply kept Bush's spending policies in place, federal deficits over the next eight years would be 60 percent lower. In 2018, we'd have a deficit of just $188 billion, instead of the projected $996 billion under Obama's budget.
So while Bush no doubt shares the blame for the dismal budget outlook, the majority of the blame belongs with Obama for putting the government on a far higher spending path.
To make up for the fact that jobs are leaving this country in droves based on the policies of this country, democrats are crowing over the fact, they say, that there was very little fraud involved in all the stimulus spending. Read the crowing here at TNR, and discern that the author is wishing there had been MORE fraud in the stimulus spending. (Yes, this circuitous illogic is what passes for a rationale these days in democrat circles.)
The truth is there was no NEED to commit fraud on the monstrous stimulus bill since the WHOLE THING WAS A FRAUD. Project after project after project was ill reasoned, thrown together, anti-American, wasteful FRAUD and EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Even in our little corner of Northwest Ohio, we see project after project of stupid spending. One bridge is being RAISED because the government decided it needed to be 6 inches higher. Meanwhile traffic is subverted for 2 years and the businesses along the route are suffering and nearly ready to shut down.
And DHS is handing out free money in social justice instead of protecting the border. Yeah, that's it.
Washington Times has an editorial about the lack of seriousness of the democrat party in dealing with any of the looming problems, including the ethics charges against Rangel and Waters. Here's their perspective:
Democratic leaders would rather waste time with comedian Stephen Colbert than uphold the ethics of Congress. With the refusal of the House to hold ethics trials for Rep. Charles B. Rangel, New York Democrat, and Maxine Waters, California Democrat, the arrogance and impudence of Nancy Pelosi's speakership is on full display.
Jennifer Rubin deals with why Christian voters are disappointed with Obama over at Commentary magazine:
Obama was never serious or sincere about faith-based outreach, any more than he was serous about going “line by line” through the budget or pursuing a traditional, pro-Zionist Middle East policy. The proof is not only in policies that are overtly hostile to the concerns of evangelicals (e.g. stem cell research, Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell) but also in the contempt he displays for those who holds opposing views. He sneers at those who “didn’t respect science,” and he scorns those who he claims don’t respect “religious freedom” (i.e., opponents of a Ground Zero mosque).
Connie Hair at Human Events discusses Obamacare and its missed deadlines, as we wait in dread for each new component of the system to be implemented. All of it, all of it, all of it was based on lies: we won't be able to choose our health care or our doctor because most insurance companies will go out of business. It will cost more than what we are paying now (what fool thought providing free health care for an additional 50 or so million people would not cost anything?) and there WILL be death panels. They're already pooh-poohing breast exams, medications, wellness procedures that have given us the best health care in the world. Read the whole thing here:

The largest, most sweeping government takeover of health care in modern history is a bloated, bureaucratic failure according to the latestCongressional Research Service (CRS) report.  At the six month mark, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has already missed one-third of the new law’s mandated deadlines.
And they want to run the nation's healthcare system?
  The missed deadlines are here.
The democrats' agenda is clear. The American people have rejected it. They rammed through corrupt policies and Americans do not want it.
The Connecticut gubernatorial race is a good example.
Blumenthal has had to lie about serving in Vietnam to make himself look better. He's an unctuous Uriah Heep.
In the debate between McMahon and Blumenthal, Blumenthal was asked how to create a job. His answer sums up the problem with the democrat party. McMahon's answer is incisive and to the point. Blumenthal's was long, wandering, unfocused and all about government.
Michelle Bachman's opponent is running an ad with a bleeped swear word. A saccharine female voice says, "Michele Bachmann: not doing s*** for the people of the 6th District, but doing more than her share for the special interests in Washington.” Watch the ad here at Hot Air.
All that democrats can do now is demonized Republicans, who seem to have adopted the deers in the headlights look. All across the country, ads are being run against Republican candidates.
  This is all they have.
