Indiana car dealer, Bob Thomas has declined to enter the Indiana Republican primary for Senate.
"We have looked at this thing from every which way," Thomas told the insider newsletter. "It doesn't make sense to get in. We don't see a chance to win. I don't want to be a second candidate against an incumbent."
Personally I thought it was a long shot. Rolling an incumbent senator in a primary is extremely difficult as Richard Mourdock will likely demonstrate. We wish Mr. Thomas luck and hope we have not seen the last of him.
