Dim bulbs for 2011

Well, so, okay, you had your little weekend off and your holidays and now we need to get back to work, as the new CrookgCongress is sworn in this week and we have to keep an eye on everything they do, as the liberals who are left scheme work to enable more people to laze around and not work and the Republicans go weak in the knees and get accustomed to the good parking spots.
Meanwhile, NYC is all in a huff over the fact that NYC sanitation workers were, in addition to the other problems previously listed, reported to have been drinking beer instead of working while people died because ambulances couldn't make their way through the streets.
Apparently twenty inches of Saturday snow didn't get cleared until the next Thursday. Oh, and twice as many people called in sick. Apparently they had no fealty for the people who pay their salaries.
Janet Napolitano has rushed off to Afghanistan, concerned about border security and enacting new measures to guarantee the safety of the AmerAfghani people.
  Yes, you read that right.
Gateway Pundit reports that over 10,000 people died in violent attacks in Afghanistan in 2010.
Gateway Pundit reports that over 13,000 people died in violent attacks in Mexico in 2010.
You'll be glad to know that Napolitano decided to give an interview to Fox News, acknowledging that that 49% who are unhappy with this administration maybe, really, do exist.
You'll also be glad to know that The One has granted an interview to the very respectable Rich Lowry of National Review.
  Oy!
  What's next?
  An interview with Chris Wallace?
Be wary, patriots. They're moving in to change their tune and charm the opposition.
In fact, one congressman insists that the last election wasn't about rejecting the policies of handouts, huge debts and reckless disregard of facts.
No, he says, the last election was that the American people wanted everybody to just get along.
And now that our lawmakers have driven out the last Edison lightbulb factories and we are stuck with the dangerous mercury filled energy saving bulbs, the makers of those energy saving bulbs are about to triple their price. And why shouldn't they? Congress paved the way for that very possibility, considering they have driven the competition out of business.
In case you were wondering how many vacation days The One Who Will Turn Back the Waters  has taken since he's taken office, you can find that information here. Oh, it's 10 vacas "spanning 58 days" since taking office.
Don't worry about his being too influenced by his cabinet, though, since he has one every two months.
That might be because he's played golf 57 times since taking office, which is twice what Bush played in 8 years.
  Oh, yeah, it's all here.
  But we're rockin' for 2011.
