An ounce of loyalty

Luis Guttierez at Newsweek:
He sees things more simply. “I have only one loyalty,” he says, “and that’s to the immigrant community.”
And so, sir, we too have only one loyalty and that is to the United States of America. If that's a problem for you, DLTDHYOTWO.
The WSJ chooses not to publish the Wikileaks stolen documents, unlike the NY Times, which chose not to publish the Climategate stolen documents because they were stolen, but chose to publish the Wikileaks stolen documents because they were...something.
To Sharia law and its defenders....one might note that women and children, particularly female children, are always the ones to suffer first under sharia law:
Sharia law has been applied in U.S. courts. There are at least seventeen instances of Sharia law being applied in eleven states, as Daniel Pipes has noted. Most notably, a NJ court held that a man did not commit rape because according to his belief in Sharia law, a man cannot rape his wife, since the wife serves him. So Sharia law was applied to the mental state element of the crime of rape. An American court actually adopted this barbaric reasoning:
Federal employees, who make twice as much as most American workers, are furious with Obama for freezing their wages for two years. Freezing their wages. No cuts. Just freezing their wages. NY Daily News:

Irate federal workers in New York had a few choice words for President Obama's decision Monday to freeze their wages for the next two years.
"That's why Obama's ratings are below [ex-President George W.] Bush's, and that's hard to be unless you're Osama Bin Laden," said Rosemarie Clemmens of Manhattan.
The monster food health "safety" bill 510 is put on hold until today. Could it be because Glenn Beck held up the phone number of Congress on his program?
Dick Morris says Hillary wanted credit card numbers and phone bills of United Nations members so she can blackmail them. Really? Seems far fetched. OTOH, why WOULD you want that secure information? Isn't that against the, um, law?
Mexico is not only suffering from a drug war that has killed thousands of their citizens and corrupted their law enforcement and government, it is also suffering economically. And they’re bringing misery across the border to the US with the cartel violence.
Yet, Mexican President Felipe Calderon said today during in a two-week UN conference among climate negotiators (whatever that means) that all attention should be paid at fighting global warmingon behalf of all humanity.
Of course, that war on climate change would entail a tax on their neighbors to the north.
And, if you missed it, here is a must read on those airport scanners entitled:
