Movies, movies, movies

The movie Secretariat is inspiring, funny and warm. Naturally the elites do not like the film, like the NY Times, for example. Recently opened, Secretariat has grossed over $50 million so far.
Same deal with Blind Side, another satisfyingly pleasant and good-hearted movie that the critics scorned as too "Republican" and "racist." It has grossed $255 million so far.
This is typical of the Left, such as Bloomberg's comment that voters can't read, are ignorant, don't know what they're doing, and so forth.
Liberals, of course, flock to left wing movies such as anything by Michael Moore and anti-military movies.
Apparently if you like family movies, you're a moron.
Many significant movies that are not left wing are coming up in the next few months, including some that conservatives have not patronized. This is a shame because if filmmakers feel they can't make money on a film, they won't produce any more.
Here're a few. (I've seen the starred ones and am planning on seeing the others.)
  Waiting For Superman
  The Lottery
Cool It (November 12 release date)
  I Want Your Money
  The White Rose (Also here)**
  2081**
