The delusional Left

  Okay, well, some of the posts below this one are a bit jokey, in that we poke fun at Michelle Obama's clothing choices, but this brings us to a greater point that is relevant  to the media, the left wing and politicians in general. Take a look at this photo and the text written beneath. Surely this ABC commentary is written by a Second City comedy writer:

  Now seriously. Seriously? We're going to explain the checkered Kohl's sweaty looking shirt as fashion? And we're going to even act like this woman looks GOOD in this outfit? REALLY?

  And all this is at the ABC blog under the heading "Michelle Obama: First Lady of Fashion." It's hard to tell if they're serious or not because the series of pictures have this heading: "First Lady Michelle Obama: Fashion Icon?" whereupon follow a series of pictures of both hideous and good outfits the FLOTUS has worn. 

  The NY Daily News does the same thing here, with no hint of irony or sarcasm.

  LA Times.

  Vogue UK, with the FLOTUS wearing a truly hideous floral print that would make any davenport in my Aunt Nellie's living room proud.

  New York Times.

  The point is this: the emperor has no clothes. (Shudder) Well, the point is that the Left sees what it wants to see. It is not a reality based community. 

  Other examples of this are Hemingway's column at the Examiner about how the Left boasts of being a "reality based" community but indeed bases its decisions and policies on emotional arguments that have no roots in science.

  Tina Fey's recycling of a lie about Sarah Palin.

  The NY Times editor boasting that his readers are too stupid to realize their newspaper rates had gone up because it was on their charge cards. Caught, he backed off, but not before the truth was revealed.

  Electing criminals to offices of importance in which the crooks can set budgets and wield tremendous power.

  Holding waste cutting meetings at an extremely expensive resort.

  So let's just call 'em out, Republicans and democrats alike.

  The emperor has no clothes. These are lies. These people are delusional or lying, and the fact that they continue to cling to lies speaks greatly of their character. 

  And if we do nothing, it speaks greatly of ours.

  I mean, seriously.

  This is a fashion icon?

  

No offense intended here, really. It's just that the reality is much different than the story that's being foisted off on the public.
