Miss USA controversy

Ace of Spades clarifies his feelings about Debbie Schlussel's accusation that the Muslim woman who won Miss USA is affiliated with Hamas. I mentioned earlier that I was hesitant to believe hook, line and sinker what Debbie says because she is soooooooo negative (just read what she writes about Sean Hannity). But one has to wonder, looking at THESE pictures (of course, Jammie loves these kinds of pictures), how a Muslim woman dressed this scantily for such a contest survives, um, well, at all. Ace:

Correction: I originally wrote this half-assuming Schlussel's charges about Miss USA being connected, by family, to Hezballah to be true, at least in a provisional sort of way.
I have rewritten it to be much more dubious about that charge, for a couple of reasons.
First, it's a big charge, and it's not fair to level without real evidence.
Second, apart from Schlussel's assertion that "intelligence sources" confirm this, I have no evidence at all -- and Michelle Malkin, for one, avoids that claim herself. If Malkin winds up affirming that charge, I'll believe it.
But I don't have to believe this woman to be a terrorist or terrorist-supporter to believe that if we're going to be asking difficult questions of beauty pageant contests, we can and should be asking them if they support murder or not.
