  Apparently in New York City, you're not allowed to be a conservative, a Christian or even pro-life.
  NewsBusters reports on an MSNBC kerfuffle....but it's always at MSNBC these days, right...where a left wing writer is angry Tim Tebow has been traded to New York, apparently because Tebow, being alive, did a pro-life ad years ago that the leftie writer didn't like and he doesn't want Tebow, being a good guy, to have any influence on the stink of New York.
  So, I guess, the leftie writer would have preferred Tebow not exist.

ZIRIN: Exactly, because of who Tim Tebow is. I mean, it would be a circus if you let Rick Santorum loose in Las Vegas for a week and just kept a camera on him the whole time. I mean, Donald Trump in New York is ho-hum. He's practically a chameleon in New York. But with Tim Tebow you are talking about somebody who has a set of ideas, let's just say, that are different from the majority of New Yorkers. Now, I don't want to shock you, Tamron, but there are a lot of women in New York who use birth control. And I also don't want to shock you, but there are a lot of LGBT people that live in New York City who are also football fans and they might want to know why the new, possibly, starting quarterback for the New York Jets wants them to move backwards 30 or 40 years.

  "Moving backwards" is disagreeing with the pro-death mentality of the childless, botoxed, primped elite of New York who basically endorse the new communism.

  As my father would have said.

This White House does what it wants

  The Malia Obama Spring Break fling to Mexico along with 12 of her friends and several teachers kerfuffle has exploded around the web, despite the White House's efforts to squelch it. 
  What was the purpose of squelching this story, as the White House has now admitted it did? First they called it non-news, until the earthquake hit Mexico and everyone wondered about Malia's safety, which apparently automatically made it "news," as "news" is determined by the "government." 
  (Malia's mother was too busy to go with her because she had an appearance on the David Letterman show, where Obama's Republican opponents would be mocked heartily.)
  The best synopsis of this kerfuffle/explosion is written by Claudia Rosett over at PJ Media. It's excellent, insightful and jarring.
 The problems Rosett sets forward are these 1) the whole 1% hypocrisy thing 2) White House control of the media  3)  cost  4)  risk  5) State Dept warning 
  And last she draws this conclusion:

One need not quarrel over whether the White House, or anyone in it, is entitled to organize holiday trips to just about anywhere on the planet. But being entitled to do something does not necessarily mean it’s a good idea to do it. Where’s the sense of responsibility to those who serve? Where’s the judgment?

  This is an excellent read and well worth your time. It synopsizes perfectly the problems this White House presents to the American public.
  This is no small story; it represents the disease that possesses the people running the country. It's all about them and no one else.
  And if they want to go on vacation someplace dangerous, it'll be the Secret Service's job to lay down their lives for them in the event of an attack.
  If they want to drive and fly gas guzzlers non stop around the country, it's their business and you'd just better pay up. You'd also better curtail your own travel in the name of "sacrifice."
  If they want to mouth platitudes about how much they care about the "middle class" and the "99%," then dammit, you'd better not question their numbers or their promises.
  If they want to send their kids to a phenomenally expensive school, while cutting the funding for impoverished inner city students to that same school, you'd better not ask why. You'd better just believe them when they say they support education and inner city students, regardless their policies.

You have to admit this is one of those questions you never thought of. "Why does evolution kill black people?" The young lady goes berserk when the professor refuses to answer her question. This is one of those questions I would like someone such as Romney or Obama get to get at a town hall. "More than twice as many people of all races are killed by intelligent design every year than have been killed by evolution since Darwin sailed on the Beagle," would probably get applause from Democratic audiences.

Wisconsin Union Protestors Drowned Out by High School Students

What has the world come to? You and your union comrades gather in the state capitol rotunda for a solidarity rally and then you are drowned out by Sheboygan Lutheran High School students chanting "Stand with Walker". Worse yet the kids seemed to have a lot more enthusiasm than your comrades. The students were in town to participate in a basketball tournament and were taking in some sight seeing when they encountered the solidarity sing along. Chin up, Solidarity! Protest is as American as apple pie.

Lots of news around the web tonight about upcoming Occupier misbehavior, including plans for a May Day creep out and some more vandalism committed by Occupy Midwest in St. Louis. Gateway Pundit has extensive details. Murder appears to be a familiar refrain for the Occupiers.

Doctors finally strike back

We watched while many doctors either went along with Obamacare or said nothing. Now ads4truth.org, a group of 7,000 doctors, is striking back in this hard hitting ad:

  To her, I say, like, "yay! FREEDOM!"   Romney, for a change, stands up to the idiot and tells the truth. He says vote for the other guy if you want free stuff.
  The problem with "free stuff" is that it ISN"T FREE.

Joe Biden -- Poster Child for Planned Parenthood

Joe Biden, the buffoon we call the Vice President, referring to the Seal Team 6 Osama bin Laden mission stated at a March 19 fundraiser, “you can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there.”

I guess the invasion of Normandy, or the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ending WWII in the Pacific, or about a gazillion other plans where the United States acted decisively over our history don't compare.

This guy sticks his foot in his mouth every time he opens it.  Truth be told, I will bet that even Obama notices it...  Well, that might be a stretch, forget I said that.

Obama docu greeted with catcalls and hoots, with good reason

  The Road We've Traveled, the 17 minute schlockumentary just unveiled to the American public about Obama's first term's "accomplishments," has opened to great hoots and hollers of derision.
  Critics have some legitimate complaints, in addition to mocking the fawning style, in the outright lies that are in the video.
  Even the Washington Post noticed the "errors," the one about Obama's mother not having insurance being the most glaring worth a full blog post to "clarify." Both Obamas have cited her illness and death as an example of why we needed to decimate our health care system in favor of one that degraded the quality of everyone's health care, as opposed to just a few.
  In fact, Dunham was extremely well paid, had excellent insurance, but wanted to nickel and dime the insurance company to completely cover all her expenses, even those not considered appropriate by the insurance company. These false statements are enumerated over at WaPo:

Scott writes that Dunham, who died in 1995 of uterine and ovarian cancer, had health insurance that “covered most of the costs of her medical treatment…The hospital billed her insurance company directly, leaving Ann to pay only the deductible and any uncovered expenses, which, she said, came to several hundred dollars a month.” 

Dunham had filed the disability claim to help pay for those additional expenses. The company denied the claim because her doctor had suspected uterine cancer during an office visit 2 ½ months before Dunham had started the job with Development Alternatives, though Dunham said the doctor had not discussed the possibility with cancer with her. Dunham requested a review from CIGNA, saying she was turning the case over to “my son and attorney Barack Obama.”

  Over at doom and gloomer Beck's The Blaze, we learn the origin of the title "The Road We've Traveled," and the case they make is a good one, complete with a graphic of the original by the same name.

During his Monday morning radio broadcast, Beck reiterated an important observation he made last Friday, and discussed the uncanny resemblance Obama’s movie bears to a book titled, ”The Road We Are Traveling 1914-1942.”

Written by FDR-admirer Stuart Chase, the book focuses on America once it has dispensed with free enterprise entirely. Chase wrote that while he could call this new society “communist, state capitalist, or fascist,“ he preferred the more ambiguous ”Political System X.” 

  Of course, the line that delivered the most laughs in the "documentary" was this:

"Not since the days of Franklin Roosevelt had so much fallen on the shoulders of one president. Now when he faced his country who looked to him for answers, he would not dwell in blame or dream in idealism," narrator Tom Hanks said in the Obama biopic "The Road We've Traveled." 

  We're just surprised Obama had time to sit for any interviews in between blaming everyone else for every thing that ever went wrong with his failed policies, including Fox News for claiming he's a Muslim. I personally watch FNC a great deal and have never heard that breathed on that network.

Fox News channel's, "Special Report" Monday night columnist Charles Krauthammer, says the White House claims that Obamacare's unpopularity is due to negative campaigning is "nonsense!"

What is the HHS Mandate?

In January, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a mandate requiring all employer health plans to include free contraceptives, sterilizations and abortion-inducing drugs, regardless of any moral or religious objections. Catholic universities and hospitals will be forced by the federal government to provide services that directly contradict Church teaching.

The HHS Mandate is an unprecedented assault on religious freedom and must be opposed!

Update on Malia's exotic vacation courtesy taxpayers

  Yesterday while blogging on the vacation Malia is taking to Mexico, I noticed that, one after one, links to stories about her trip were disappearing all over the web.
  The only excuse being offered is that, since the 13 year old is so young, the Obamas want privacy for their children. The problem with that theory is that the Obamas have declared their children part of their reelection campaign and that, since taxpayers are funding the trip, this event of an exotic trip to Mexico is a matter of public record. 
  Anyway The Blaze noticed the disappearing stories:

Buzzfeed is now reporting that it is a “long tradition” not to report on presidential kids’ vacation plans, citing this as the possible reason for the many unexplained retractions. 

If this is the case, it still raises questions as to why Malia was allowed to vacation in a country that the State Department recommends no American travels to.
Neither AFP nor the White House responded to Buzzfeed’s request for comment.

Slow Witted Protestors Lose Legal Battle

The dopes in Judge Judy's court do a better job of defending themselves than these pro-union protestors in Wisconsin. The best argument put forth for an improper arrest is that the defendants were arrested not for what they were doing but because of who they were. No one else was arrested, just the group sitting on the floor of the rotunda. They did admit that they were the only ones in the building at the time. Discrimination pure and simple.

Biden Lays It On Thick

Joe Biden is calling the killing of Osama bin Laden the most audacious plan in 500 years. No wonder he gets booed in Pittsburgh. " You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48 percent probability that he was there." Audacious? What would he call the invasion of Normandy? Or how about the Israeli raid on Entebbe? One of the most audacious raids in modern times was carried out by the CIA, back when it still worked under the command of Wild Bill Donovan. Midway through the Korean War Sweden announced it would deliver humanitarian aid to North Korea. When diplomacy failed, Donovan went to Chinese Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-Shek and borrowed a freighter. Then disguised as pirates, the crew stopped the Swedish ship on the high seas and hi-jacked the entire cargo of medical supplies. Donovan then gave Chiang Kai-Shek the booty as payment for the ship.

Later Biden lets us know Obama's risk was political. " Do any one of you have a doubt that if that raid failed that this guy would be a one-term president?" The propensity to meddle in military affairs seems to be a failing of all latter day Democratic presidents. During the Vietnam war bombing targets were selected by the National Security Council in the White House. Kennedy's last minute loss of nerve left thousands of Cubans hanging out to dry when he cancelled military support for the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Jimmy Carter insisted on being in constant contact with the raiding Delta force in the ill fated hostage rescue mission.

Did we see White House photos of Ronald Reagan and his team during the invasion of Grenada? No, Reagan just told the Pentagon to draw up a plan and the rest we know. Did we see Bush One running about the country bragging about winning a war in 96 hours? When Bush Two laid it all on the line with his surge he faced massive political opposition yet he made the right call and saved Iraq.

The inability to delegate authority is a management flaw. Whether driven by insecurity or ego it is still a flaw. If we are to believe Biden and his 48 percent probability bullshit we see a president risking dozens of lives on a mission that wasn't even money to succeed. Gutsy or stupid? The killing of bin Laden was a success but a modest success. Had the mission failed the public would have never learned of it.

Obama Campaign Seeks Videos

Of course the owners of the auto dealerships shut down by Chrysler, the families of slain border agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata, or the pipe fitters who wanted to get jobs on the Keystone pipeline you would be wasting their time making a video for the Obama. The Sandra Flukes, the Jeffery Imelts of GE and the UAW worker of GM and Chrysler will find unearned praise and temporary affection from the Obama campaign. If the real change in your life is negative make the video anyway and I'll post it for you.
