No charges for ACORN-Brooklyn-Wait!

Today it was announced that ACORN will not face prosecution in Brooklyn.
“On Sept. 15, 2009, my office began an investigation into possible criminality on the part of three ACORN employees,” Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes said in a one-paragraph statement issued Monday afternoon.
Should anyone be surprised? The Brooklyn DA is a member of the ACORN/Working Families Party. That means he signed their pledge, and worked for their endorsement.

  1. Dont be so freakin daft!

Hynes is not, nor ever was a part of ACORN. He recieved an endorsment from them. That doesnt mean anything.

ACORN also endorsed plenty of Republicans before. John McCAin, Michael Bloomberg, Rick Perry etc... all are republicans who worked with ACORN and were endorsed by ACORN. They have more of a relationship with ACORN than Hynes ever has.

I know that HotAir or one of those morons are trying to make the case that being "endorsed" by a group means membership in it. Well, in that case, George W. Bush was a member of the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay right-wing group.
