Report: WHITE HOUSE ordered "less cumbersome security"

Now that the head of the Secret Security has stepped down, some interesting news is leaking out of its covert ranks.
The Washington Post is reporting that agents have been demoralized for working long hours even on their "off days."
After Pierson's appointment, the scandal plagued agency :
....continued to suffer from systemic problems that went well beyond the embarrassment of the prostitution scandal.
For instance, staffing shortages have grown so severe that the agency has had to fly in field agents from across the country for two-week temporary details, paying their travel, hotel and per-diem costs.
The Post reveals that Pierson cut the staff by a third and became "irate" when she considered some staff situations "excessive."
The administration is claiming they knew nothing about some of the situations but this sentence is quite revealing:
In her 18 months in charge, Pierson also became the subject of derision among some lower-level agents for accommodating the White House staff’s wishes for less cumbersome security over the warnings of her tactical teams.
This report of a "less cumbersome security" detail comes from the inner ranks of the agency, something we may see the White House seek to deny in coming days, considering that they never seem to know anything until it's been on the news for a week.
Given the White House's propensity to lie, discerning the truth in this situation is difficult but one thing is certain: former Secret Service Julia Pierson has tire tracks on her back.
Her appointment was touted by the administration as "the first woman" to run the Secret Service.
At the time, the Huffington Post boasted that Obama's appointment was "signaling his desire to change the culture at the male-dominated service, which has been marred by scandal," also noting that Janet Napolitano praised the decision to appoint a woman to this position.
