Why Herman Cain's presidential run matters

  Borked, Palinized and now Cained.

   It's great to see college people actually stand up to the annoying "99%" cult chants. Don't these people get tired of their repetitive chants? Don't they get tired of following the crowd? (Ed. outrage: Why, in MY day, we valued our autonomy and shunned cults, whether political or religious.)
  Apparently the occupiers' grievance with Herman Cain in this video is "sexual abuse."
  With regard to the sex allegations against Herman Cain, something still does not sound right.
  Supposedly two anonymous women accused him. This came to nothing.
  Another woman with a pattern of filing sexual abuse claims accused him.
  Another woman, who wore official looking glasses to complement her blonde bimbo appearance, who happens to be desperate for money and attention and who laughed weirdly during the Allred press conference has just been evicted from her apartment. Money problems there too. 
  The current female accuser has a history of very bad erratic behavior.
White’s cash flow problems have followed her for years. In 2001, she filed for bankruptcy, and she has been sued numerous times for allegedly failing to pay rent, including nine times this year, most of them by Ashford Park Apartments in Dunwoody.
  So the accuser sends messages late at night or early in the morning, all apparently in a four month period, and it's reported that the two "exchanged" text messages in the wee hours of the night because eventually Cain responds.
  Was the time of Cain's response revealed?
  When the press claims she has nothing to gain, why don't they include the fact that these women have a history of financial problems, erratic behavior and legal grievances either filed by them or against them?
  The press knew for years about John Edwards' misbehavior.

Who is Ginger White? Well, she is a meagerly kept-woman with two children, who faced numerous evictions during the time she claimed Cain was paying her bills. 
Before she allegedly began her relationship with Mr. Cain, Ms. filed for bankruptcy. Since then she was involved in a sexual harassment suit.
White had other dealings with the court. Her former business partner, Kimberly Vay, sued her and accused Ms. White of stalking. The judge ruled against White and issued a protection order. 
  Stalking a former business partner? This is who we are relying on for a credible report?
  I'm trying to imagine why women who claim to have had affairs with a man feel comfortable saying that man isn't "fit to be president." 
  It's not that every guy you have an affair with should be presidential material, but what kind of person would you be if you DID  have an affair with someone who "lavished" you with gifts and money and then you ran to the press to inform them that you are contemptuous of him? He was worth calling for a loan but not of your respect?
  Frankly, Herman Cain's prospects for the presidency are dim or extinguished.
  On the surface, it would seem that tossing Cain out would benefit Republican candidates.
  This is not necessarily true.
  Rush speculated yesterday that perhaps Cain's presidential bid discomfited Obama and his people because he is competition in the Black presidential territory.
  This may be true but there's more at work here.
  Herman Cain, whatever his flaws, symbolizes what any Black American can become, given a good work ethic and a commitment to both education and excellence.
  Herman Cain is, in short, a threat to the Democrat machine which strives to keep Black Americans submissive to government handouts and union operatives, who, in many organizations, call the shots in a strict hierarchy communistic in nature.
  In reality, the government is working to destroy Black families, as Walter Williams 
says:
“[T]he welfare state has done to black Americans what slavery could not have done, the harshest Jim Crow laws and racism could not have done, namely break up the black family,” Williams said. “That is, today, just slightly over 30 percent of black kids live in two parent families. Historically, from 1870s on up to about 1940s, and depending on the city, 75 to 90 percent of black kids lived in two parent families. Illegitimacy rate is 70 percent among blacks where that is unprecedented in our history.”
  It's not that the White House has to take Herman Cain seriously as an opponent for the presidency.
  There's a more significant reason Cain's run is a threat to the White House and ultimately the Democrat party.
  Herman Cain represents the American Dream.
  By running as a successful Black businessman who is a Republican, he puts to rest the modern day resentments, racial grievances and class warfare that the Left holds onto so dearly because it represents the source of their power.
  The more dependent the people, the more power the Left has.
  This is why it is important that Herman Cain not be driven from the race for frivolous or untrue causes.
  Look what was done to Robert Bork during the Supreme Court hearings. Most now agree that Bork was eminently qualified to sit on the Supreme Court, yet this is what happened, from Wikipedia. Note that an author of Borking was none other than Joe Biden, who in recent years has acquired a reputation for being a harmless bumbler.
Within 45 minutes of Robert Bork's nomination to the Court, Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) took to the Senate floor with a strong condemnation of Bork in a nationally televised speech, declaring, 
"Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the Government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens."[2]  
A brief was prepared for Joe Biden, head of the Senate Judiciary Committee, called the Biden Report. Bork later said in his best-selling[3] book The Tempting of America that the report "so thoroughly misrepresented a plain record that it easily qualifies as world class in the category of scurrility."[4] TV ads narrated by Gregory Peck attacked Bork as an extremist, and Kennedy's speech successfully fueled widespread public skepticism of Bork's nomination. The rapid response of Kennedy's "Robert Bork's America" speech stunned the Reagan White House; though conservatives considered Kennedy's accusations slanderous,[1] the attacks went unanswered for two and a half months.[5] 
 It began with Bork, it accelerated into maniacal depths with Sarah Palin and now Herman Cain.
  Is it conceivable that Cain had a history of affairs?
  Of course.
  But is it also conceivable that nefarious individuals could find 4 (or more) unstable, useful idiots in a population of over 300 million people who would be willing to go on camera and claim Cain is untrustworthy to be president?
  Of course.
  Of all the candidates, Cain represents the greatest threat to the White House and the Democrat party because of his belief in this country, his independence, his sense of business opportunity and his rise to success in a country so peopled with supposed racists and lack of opportunity for minorities.
  The fact that he's still standing is remarkable.
