These are the mascots for the next Olympics. What kind of a brain thought this up and WHO paid real money for its development? The blue one looks like it has a diaper on the the orange one likes like a firecracker exploded on it. You would expect something bizarre like this from the Japanese but the BRITISH?

Jobs says keep porn off iPhone
Whoa. Who knew.
“We do believe we have a moral responsibility to keep porn off the iPhone. Folks who want porn can buy [an] Android phone,” he said, referring to the product of competitor Google, which has permitted a pornography store app for its smartphone.
Chuck Norris, Republican hero
Well, okay, this film looks really embarrassing. But, hey, it's Chuck Norris.

Outrage over congress cheering "Hate America" speech by Calderon
This is still too disgusting to comprehend. It's just an outrage that this happened. Are there absolutely no responsible Democrats left in this country? Over at Weasel Zippers we have text of an interview that Calderon did with Wolf Blitzer. You won't believe it.
WOLF BLITZER: “Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people who they suspect are illegal?”
CALDERON: “Of course.”
BLITZER: “If somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some other country in Central America through the southern border of Mexico, they wind up in Mexico, they can go get a job, they can work . . .”
CALDERON: (Interrupting Blitzer) “No, no. If somebody do that without permission, we send back them.”And here's audio of Rush's statement regarding this debacle.
SEIU thugs invade man's home
Does this look the beginnings of Greece? Here's the story. SEIU thugs decide their payments on their houses are too high. (You'll recall that Barney Frank/Chris Dodd jimmied Fannie Mae to give mortgages to people who obviously couldn't afford them...in fairness). Now that they have the right president and opportunity, these thugs went to a Bank of America exec's home, where his 14 year old son was inside alone. What's bizarre about this discussion is the so-called "professor" who "debates" Tantaro by giggling like a school girl at the thought of a 14 year old boy facing down these "rough politics." He even equates this "protest" to the tea parties, shockingly enough. Here's the video:
President of the world?
The true patriots at Hillbuzz have an idea. What is The One criticizing our own country so much for? What possible motive could he have for repeatedly trashing us, over and over, both on our shores and foreign shores? What I will NEVER NEVER forget is the sight of the CONGRESS standing up, cheering and egging on the Mexican president about our own laws and Arizona trying to defend itself. Megyn Kelly said yesterday that, in actuality, the Arizonan law is milder than the federal law because (some amendment that was passed or something) with the federal law the suspected illegal didn't have to be in the act of committing a crime. Why haven't we heard this before?
Mexico should be humiliated that, as a country, it’s so terrible people risk their lives swimming rivers, crossing deserts, and breaking the law to leave.
It is highly inappropriate for Mexico, and its president, to come to the White House and criticize American immigration and law enforcement policy.
It’s downright repugnant that the current American president has the audacity to stand there and agree with him — a foreign leader — as he trashes our country.
We don’t know what Obama hopes to achieve by continually attacking the country that elected him president. Maybe he really is running for UN Secretary General and sees this stint at 1600 Pennsylvania as just a stepping stone to becoming some sort of “President of the World”.

Keeping life in perspective
It's been difficult, watching the snatching of freedom, dealing with the disappointment of some politicians (Scott Brown) who seem to have sold out our country to appease those in power, being stunned by the emergence of the elite class, mourning the lack of civility, suffering the shock of spending wild amounts of money with absolutely no sense of consequence or responsibility.....there's so much.
It is important to keep in mind that all power is transitory. One may seek the glories of being served by others, worshiped by the media, feeling the lust of getting your hands on lots of things that don't belong to you....but it does not last.
That's what the poem "Ozymandias" is about. Read it, and remember November. Do everything you can to assure the outcome. Then look at this pictorial retrospective of Hitler's bunker and remember. (I am not equating one with the other. It's just good to think about.)

Ozymandias
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
`My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away".
Michelle O's dress
Drudge has a pic of Michelle O's blue dress. I don't have time to put the pic up, but wanted to comment on it. To me, that dress reminds me of an old tv show called "Xena: Warrior Princess." Though the dress, imho, is beautiful, it was totally inappropriate that the First Lady would be seen wearing something that pushed up her right boob so much, her back fat out and with that artillery belt holding the whole thing up. Un-first ladyish, imho.
Cavuto says Blumenthal's poseur lies are no big deal
In political maelstrom, Neil Cavuto's clarity, calmness and gentle humor often provide relief from all the talking heads yelling at one another, which is why what he closed his program with yesterday was so disappointing.
Cavuto said it was no big deal that Blumenthal has lied about serving in Vietnam. There are far more important things to be concerned about, Cavuto said, and there are lots worse things you can do than slip up that wee little bit 4 or 5 times about having actually served in Vietnam. I disagree. Blumenthal is one of those phony soldiers who claims being able to wear medals he never earned. If you lie about the trivial things, what else will you lie about? It strikes at the core of honor.
This item needs to be clarified with Cavuto.

Freedom for thee but not for me
Jim Hoft has video of this Obama administration talking about how much he loves the Saudis, et al. What is interesting is Brenna's lack of perspective for the WOMEN and HOMOSEXUALS and CHRISTIANS and JEWS who have the misfortune to live under the thumbs of their male dictators. I think of the little girls who have been murdered for seeking an education (burned in their schoolhouse). I think of the Iranian teenagers rebelling, dying in the streets, being hanged in the public square for what? For freedom. I think of the Christians literally enslaved in Africa. I think of the slavish "devotion" of the murderers who refuse to allow others to practice freely their religion. And then I wonder how this man can suck up to these monsters. And when did Jerusalem become Al Quds to the USA?
“I did spend time with classmates at the American University in Cairo in the 1970’s. And, time spent with classmates from Egypt, Jordan, Palestine from around the world who taught me that whatever our differences in nationality, or race, or religion, or language, there are certain aspirations that we all share. To get an education. To provide for our family. To practice our faith freely(huh?). To live in peace and security. And in a 25 year career in government, I was privileged to serve in positions across the Middle East… In Saudi Arabia, I saw how our Saudi partners fulfilled their duty as custodians of the two holy mosques at Mecca and Medina. I marveled at the majesty of the Hajj and the devotion of those who fulfilled their duty as Muslims by making that pilgrimage. And, in all my travels the city I have come to love most is al-Quds, Jerusalem where three great faiths come together.”

Hey, let's regulate the internet!
Let's force people to read junk they don't want. And then, then, THEN let's just block conservative writing and thoughts altogether! K?
Are we considering legitimizing an abhorrent practice?
This is unspeakable. That we even have to write about it is preposterous and horrible. But here it is:
Yesterday, I was doing some reading and writing on a disturbing topic: the AAP and FGM. “AAP”? The American Academy of Pediatrics. These people seem to be softening on female genital mutilation, or FGM. This is that abhorrent practice performed on girls as young as two in Muslim and some other societies. The AAP is no longer calling FGM FGM — they’re calling it “FGC,” for “female genital cutting.” Much nicer, you see. The phrase “female genital mutilation” is “culturally insensitive,” they say. And their new position is, “Why don’t we allow doctors to give the girls a ritual nick?” This is supposed to prevent the parents of those girls from shipping them off to Somalia or wherever to undergo the whole, horrific deal. There is an argument to be made here. But the AAP may be engaging in a compromise that becomes surrender.
Outrage on the WH lawn
How dare this man come to this country and complain about something that is not only legal in his country, but mild in comparison to his own country's lawn? How dare the so-called president of the United States stand there and agree? How dare they? VD Hanson:
How strange that the president of Mexico, while a guest on the lawn of the White House, would attack the laws of a U.S. state, while his own country's immigration laws and policies in relation to Central America have never approached American tolerance. It is unimaginable that an American president would ever travel to Mexico City and lecture that nation and its president on its treatment of both aliens from Latin America and American tourists. But, as President Obama reminded us, "we are not defined by our borders" — although apparently a million Mexican nationals a year disagree and so risk everything to be on the north rather than the south side of a supposedly imaginary line. That is the truth that we dare not speak.
Phony Vietnam vet backed up by another phony Vietnam vet
Bwahaha! What fools these people are! Blumenthal has his picture taken with another phony vet who was outed. Now he's claiming he was on the swim team, CAPTAIN, no less, but HE NEVER WAS. BWAHAHA! Follow the links to Gateway Pundit:
The truth came out about Dem phony Richard Blumenthal this week. He never served in Vietnam. He never was captain of the Harvard Swim Team. He never even was a member of the Harvard Swim Team.
After he was caught lying about serving in Vietnam, Blumenthal held a press conference with several veterans standing by his side including another phony.
