The friction between the Black Caucus and Obama escalated when Waters berated the administration for failing to rework a business loan from Goldman Sachs to the Inner City Broadcasting Corp. Inner City is run by Pierre Sutton, son of Percy Sutton, the longtime media giant in the African-American community. Two weeks after she raised the issue in a meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Emanuel, Goldman saw the light and restructured the loan.

Black unrest over Obama
Nasty brewing behind the scenes on health care
First is a vote in the Senate Finance Committee which reduces the amount of compensation that insurance executives receive that is eligible for tax credit. They have moved the limit from the current $1 million amount to $500K. In effect it is an effort to force insurance companies to reduce the amount of compensation that insurance executives can receive.

The second piece of news to come out is yet another study showing that insurance policies could increase by as much as 54% under the current legislation. A report which of course the White House dismissed before even seeing it.Another day, another study confirming that ObamaCare will increase the price of health insurance. The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has found that premiums in the individual market will rise on average by 54% over the status quo, which translates into an extra $3,341 a year for families and $1,576 for singles. The White House denounced the report as a "sham" before it was even released, which shows how seriously it takes such concerns.

Cutting Medicare
The health care bill soon to pass the Senate hasn't changed anything but the packaging. Cuts to Medicare are still a reality, but a bureaucratic Medicare Commission willindiscriminately make these cuts, and, we're told, not on the basis of age [i]. In practice, it makes no difference, since those benefiting from Medicare are seniors. Charged with deciding how to apply $500 billion in cuts to primary Medicare services, the Medicare Commission will most surely make decisions that result in rationed care for seniors. It's not conspiracy; it's simple arithmetic. Less money equals less care.
Democrat admits, "You WON'T be able to keep your health care!"
Should Congress scale back the program, “We’re not going to be able to say ‘if you like what you have, you can keep it,’” said Senator Bob Casey, a Pennsylvania Democrat. “And that basic commitment that a lot of us around here have made will be called into question.”[SNIP]
And check this out: Blue states -- or at least Obama states -- seem to be somehow getting protection from these cuts:Senators Charles Schumer of New York, Bill Nelson of Florida and Ron Wyden of Oregon are among those who secured special provisions shielding constituents from cuts.Casey says he wants “very comparable” protections for his state, where more than one-third of Medicare beneficiaries participate in Medicare Advantage. “It’s the kind of thing that will likely be addressed on the floor,” he said.
How filthy-dirty is that?

Another Muslim plane incident
This is scary stuff, folks. Go read this report over at Ace on Air Tran Flight 297 from Atlanta to Houston on November 17th, where 11 Muslims boarded the plane dressed in their martyr garb, sat in different sections of the plane, and then as the flight was leaving the gate, the men refused to listen to flight attendants, starting using their cell phones, got up out of their seats, started moving towards the cockpit, yelled in people’s faces in Arabic, and looked like they were going to takeover the plane.
[SNIP]
Here’s what we think the Muslims were really doing: We think they are part of a larger, cooperative, collaborative effort in the Muslim community to roll back the security measures in place since 9/11 so another round of hijackings can take place on that scale. We believe more and more Muslims will stage incidents like Flight 297 during the current administration, knowing the current Attorney General Eric Holder will see to it they are never prosecuted for violating FAA regulations by getting up during a takeoff, moving towards the cockpit and doing other things consistent with taking over the plane. Because they do not have weapons on them, in court they will make up some religious excuse for what they were doing. [SNIP]

5 ecocrimes
Yet that still means a six-a-day caffeine habit clocks up more than 175 kilograms of CO2each year. That's the equivalent of a flight across Europe - from London to Rome, say. Add milk, and the methane belched by dairy cows means you increase your coffee's climate-changing emissions by more than a third.175 kilograms The annual CO2 emission of a six-a-day coffee habit. Equivalent to a single flight between London and Rome It doesn't end there, though. The environmental group WWF has calculated that it takes 200 litres of water to produce the coffee, milk, sugar and cup for just one regular takeout latte. So if everyone ditched their pre-work coffee fix that would do wonders for the planet.
Hot air at Copenhagen
The U.N. estimates the 12-day conference will create 40,584 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, roughly the same amount as the carbon emissions of Morocco in 2006.

A truly sickening read on hypocrisy
Hypocrisy is the vice we find hardest to forgive, but it’s also the one we most enjoy discovering in others. And nothing piques our interest more than eco-hypocrisy as practised by the “green” celebrities who have been spouting green virtue but spewing out hundreds of tons of carbon from their private jets or multiple holiday homes around the globe.
Global warming believers' foundation cracking
None of these outfits is per se corrupt, in the sense that the monies they get are spent on something other than their intended purposes. But they depend on an inherently corrupting premise, namely that the hypothesis on which their livelihood depends has in fact been proved. Absent that proof, everything they represent—including the thousands of jobs they provide—vanishes. This is what's known as a vested interest, and vested interests are an enemy of sound science.

Well, the tea partiers have been saying this all along.
The data suggests that the level of anger is growing. The 71% who are angry at federal government policies today is up five percentage points since September.
