A small group from Occupy Boston staged a sit in a the Israeli consulate to protest the Israel's boarding of boats bound for Gaza. Evidently the Boston police do not see the need to enforce the law even when it has international implications. Imagine if demonstrators in a foreign country were allowed to enter an American consulate and then walk away with impunity. Again with the all too trite explanation that this group does not represent the larger Occupy movement. Just as the lawless vandalism and fights with the police in Oakland were carried out by a small minority who do not represent the larger movement. Don't expect the media to get off that talking point when it attempts to defend indefensible behavior. It may well be that extremism will eventually do in the movement. The media does not like to show this group in a bad light so as violence escalates it may get less and less coverage until it become irrelevant.
