Some occupiers LOVE luxury!!!

So today it's revealed (as has been noted in the past) that some of the occupiers who claim to be part of the 99% aren't so frugal. In fact, not only are they not frugal, they like living in luxury.
The latest example is provided by two young men, one of whom works for a 1% company and one of whom is a "tattoo artist" with access to the "powerful" occupier finance committee.
The New York Post reveals the ugly facts:
Spitzer, 24, an associate at financial-services giant Deloitte, which netted $29 billion in revenue last year, admitted he joined the protest at Zuccotti Park several times.
“I’m staying here for work,” said Spitzer, dressed down in a company T-shirt and holding a backpack and his suitcase. “I do finance, but I support it still.”
During his stay, hotel sources said, he and other ragtag revolutionaries he brought into the hotel lived like 1 percenters. He would order up a roll-out bed to accommodate guests, they said.
“He’s here all the time,” a hotel source said. “We all see him at the protest.”
Why would Deloitte want to keep a guy like that on the payroll? Great advertisement, getting paid big bucks for protesting your own 1% company.
John Podhoretz at the NYP says the movement has deteriorated into a "tantrum for crybabies."
Across the country, however, we find that the always ready to get violent occupier movement wants to test their power by shutting down the nation's ports, fueled by union thugs who want more control of all companies. (Which is why we're in the mess of having no companies willing to stay in this country because of union thuggery but I digress.)
In fact, it's been known for some time that the student occupiers in New York come from some very exclusive neighborhoods, according to Daily Caller, who culled the information from police records:
Many “Occupy Wall Street” protesters arrested in New York City reside in more luxurious homes than some of their rhetoric might suggest, a Daily Caller investigation has found.
[SNIP]
Among addresses for which information is available, single-family homes listed on those police intake forms have a median value of $305,000 — a far higher number than the $185,400 median value of owner-occupied housing units in the United States.

Some of the homes where “Occupy” arrestees reside, viewed through Google Maps and the Multiple Listing Service real estate database, are the definition of opulence.
So why not stay at the W hotel for $700 a night when not lying on the streets of New York? It only makes sense!
In case you missed it, we might point back to the Jon Stewart "discovery" that, even in occupied New York, the social strata are clearly delineated between the yuppies with their iPads and iPhones and the street riff raff who provide the grunt work.
Here it is, well worth the time to watch.

  1. Every single post here is riddled with misinformation. I won't blame you, I just assume you get all your info from FoxNews.

You're another idiot who thinks occupy protestors are anti-capitalist and undemocratic. Because you haven't payed attention, at all. The main point of the movement is to protest the influence of banks and big corporations on government. That politicians serve CEOs before the interests of the people. There is no conflict in 1) protestors owning iPhones or other luxuries, or 2) wealthy people supporting the movement. Get some facts together. You're embarrassing yourself.

  2. Oh, I've paid more attention than YOU have, I'll wager, and what I've seen isn't pretty, logical or reasonable.

The main point of the movement is NOT what you say. The main point of the movement is to create chaos and destroy the system the way it is now. You are being used by the 60's academics who have retreated into their ivory towers, bided their time until they can emerge to fulfill their dreams of absolute destruction and power over capitalism.

YES, there is a conflict. Occupiers are stopping people from going to work, attempting to stop commerce in this country, disrupting as many businesses as they can, creating havoc and trying to overwhelm the system so they can "reset" the button to form...what?

YOU are being used by the UNIONS, the anarchists and the marxists.

That is easily seen, if you'd open your eyes and quit parroting and twinkling the cult activity.

Wake up. It's not too late.
