Wow! Chris Matthews has lost that loving feeling. Obama's warhorse has spit out the bit. Most likely Chris will get back on his meds when his cohorts at MSNBC remind him that he probably doesn't have a future at Fox. Oddly though Matthews insight is keener than those on the right. Well, at least he comes at it from a different point of view. Matthew's favorite president was John Kennedy. PT 109, New Frontier, Man on the Moon, were the property of the Kennedy White House. Kennedy challenged America to be all that it could be; Obama would take away its footballs, swing sets, and fast cars and put it on a healthy diet of sugar free, locally grown, organic veggies. JFK promised America the moon; Obama promises more Solyndra's. Matthews is right. Who could be excited about the liberal brand of puritanism that is the modern Democrat Party and its imperial mission to make the world safe for mediocrity?
I sort of looked at this as a warning shot though. All these people that are complaining about Obama not doing enough are, I think, trying to squeeze him to do even more drastic stuff while he can because they know he's getting the boot. It WAS interesting, however, that Matthews admits how many Dems are unhappy with Obama.
ReplyDeleteThe stories are stuff we just hear through the grapevine, filtered. I dunno. The whole White House Insider stories seem to be pretty accurate. I've thought of them as a sort of mouthpiece for some insightful Republican but now, I dunno. Maybe there really IS an insider speaking off the record.
