Capitalist Occupiers hawk wares

  I had the luck to snag one of those capitalist OWS t shirts from the NYC protest. Here's pic. It's very, um, classy. This particular shirt was being sold at the protest on the street and is available here.

  CafePress has quite an array of Occupy merchandise.
  At Zazzle, you can also get "affordable personalized gifts" of Occupy merchandise. But anyone can hawk wares there. You just submit your graphic and CafePress makes it for you.
  Another market has developed over at Occupymerchandise, although everything seems to be marked down.

  Mr. Shirey, activist, long time Democrat and social justice fan, explains that the reason for the markdowns is this: 

COMPARE OUR PRICES and support union members when you purchase these products. Ask our competitors if their products are union made. We are not a corporation. We're a family owned business.

  In fact, this video pretty much sums up the commerce that is Occupy NYC, although the commerce is all over the country.

  What's funny about this video is that the narrator sums it up by showing a barefooted hippie freak and saying, "And so many have so little" which is why they're out here...as the camera zooms in on the poor fellow's bare feet.
  So one of the things we learn here is that this whole occupation thing is big....business.
