A New Suffolk poll has Jon Huntsman leading Rick Perry in New Hampshire. Romney leads the field with commanding 27 point lead over Ron Paul with Huntsman in third place, followed by Perry. The breakdown is; Romney 41%, Paul 14%, Huntsman 10%, Perry 8%, Palin 6%, Bachmann 5%, Gingrich 4%, Santorum 1%, and Roemer 1%.
Surely Romney's lead was expected but Perry at 8% and Bachman at 5%?
"In other findings, the Suffolk University survey showed that 48 percent of those polled also identified themselves as being aligned with Tea Party ideals, and 49 percent described themselves as conservative. Each of these results was lower by about 4 points compared to the June poll."
Romney and Huntsman have a combined 51% of the poll and 48% of respondents identify with the Tea Party. Go figure.
