While this interviewer is somewhat rude and aggressive, the reaction of Rep. Steve Rothman is typical: defensive, angry, how dare you question me, puffed up (ample) chest, protect my turf mentality standing in front of a "Listening to You " sign. (Why do these guys bother printing up signs like that when they don't listen?)
Rothman says, "I have integrity and you don't?" HUH? When they get sworn in, do they also ingest THE BLUE PILL OF HAUTEUR?
On a side note, if questioners can remain calm and respectful, they are more likely to get what they want out of an interview, rather than step in the way of the big mouth in front of them. In some cases, such as the Brad Sherman case, this is impossible because the answers these "elite" offer are so offensive and ignorant. A good example of this is the Geraldo Rivera interview of Malik Shabazz last weekend on FNC. Geraldo was so combative and voluble that it was difficult to hear what Shabazz was saying.
As always, if you let these guys talk, they'll hang themselves.
