Suffolk University will not be polling Florida, North Carolina, or Virginia anymore this election cycle. Why you may ask? The answer is they no longer view these battleground states to be competitive. They are calling them for Romney. Appearing on the Factor, David Paleologos, the director of research for Suffolk said further polling in his opinion would be a waste of resources as Obama has hit a ceiling at 47%. Zounds!
Obama carried my native Indiana in 2008 by less than one percent. Dissatisfaction with Obama started early and the state was never in play this cycle but a recent poll found Obama down by 16! To paraphrase Joe Biden, this is a big frigging deal and it has happened in the absence of any campaigning on either side.
