Most chess grand masters are pretty forgettable people so excuse me when I say I have forgotten the gentleman's name. He was being interviewed by a chess publication when he confessed he really didn't like a particular defense he frequently played. Then why play it? asked the interviewer. Because it's good enough to win with was the reply. That pretty much sums up my feeling about Todd Akin. He is good enough to win with and now he is getting help not only from Newt Gingrich as I previously blogged but also from Senators Jim DeMint, Lindsey Graham, Jim Inhofe, and Tom Coburn, who will be honorary hosts of a Washington fundraiser next week for Akin. Hey! if he good enough for Jim DeMint he good enough for me.
Former Missouri Republican Senator Kit Bond is also supporting Akin as is sitting Missouri Senator Roy Blunt. It appears that everyone is on board with the exception of Senator John Cornyn who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus who apparently would rather not control the senate. Akin is going to win this race!

Univision Will Air Its Fast and Furious Investigation
This evening Univision will air its investigation into Fast and Furious and it will not pull punches. The Spanish-language channel says the “Aqui y Ahora” program will expose the true deadly toll. Expecting a large mainstream audience it will caption the program in English.
Gerardo Reyes, Univision’s director of investigative reporting maintains that for Fast and Furious to have been successful Mexicans had to die.
“The sinister part of this, and I know it sounds very hard, is that the success of this operation depended in part on the fact that the guns were used in Mexico to kill,” says Mr. Reyes. “In order to reach the target of the operation, which was identifying the drug traffickers who were using the guns, [ATF agents] were waiting for the guns to be used. And how are guns used in Mexico? Killing people. I talked to an ATF agent who said there was no other way to explain it.”
Readers will remember that both Romney and Obama addressed Univision's "Meet the Candidates" program. Romney got a polite but reserved reception but the questions addressed to Obama were the most direct he has faced since long before his election. "What do you consider to be your biggest failure as president?' was one question I remember.
The program will detail Fast and Furious ties to the massacre of 16 teenage boys and girls in Ciudad Juarez and the murder of Mario Gonzalez Rodriguez, the brother of the former Chihuahua attorney general, the extent to which the Mexican government knew about the program, and an interview with a drug trafficker who says he heard from colleagues that the US government was selling guns to the cartels.

All the news that's fit to create!
How much more absurd can the Dead Media get?
The morning crew plays a tape of a Romney/Ryan rally in which the banner claims Romney forced the crowd to say HIS name instead of Ryan's, as if he is an egotistical narcissistic casual bastard like certain other politicians with whom we are familiar.
I listened to the tapes, both cSpan and MSNBC/aka NBC News over at The Blaze and easily detected that the MSNBC/aka NBC News tape had been doctored. You can also hear the "ey" part of Romney's name but you can also hear either a boost or audio voiceover.
The video of Scarborough and his blonde hostette face palming in "embarrassment" over how stupid Romney is is so sickening it's difficult to watch without throwing up in your mouth.
The Blaze takes apart the incident, claiming (easily) that MSNBC/aka NBC News is caught in yet another doctoring scandal.
In fact, it's so easily transparent that it's difficult to watch. Several people, including a Black caller to Rush named Timmy, witnessed the event and said it simply was NOT true nor did it happen the way MSNBC/aka NBC News claims in theirdoctored clip.
Now you don't have to tell US out here that that's true, but that's not what Andrea Mitchell and gack Rachel Maddow mean to say.
What they mean to say is that Romney's too stupid to be a president of foreign policy (because the foreign policy we have now is working so well) and he probably doesn't even know that "war makes more veterans." (That's an actual Maddow quote.)
Mitchell and Maddow lament the lack of substance in this race and then immediately launch into the Brown/Warren Massachusetts race, which I've been following with great interest, Professor Jacobsen being a favorite legal blogger and ferocious Warren critic.
M & M's complaint is that they can't understand why Brown is criticizing Warren for lying about being Native American and benefited from claiming "minority" status in both college admission and hiring. Warren immediately removed her minority claim once hired and acted as if it never happened or was inconsequential.
M & M can't seem to understand that dishonesty, deceit and abusing a program meant to benefit the disadvantaged would bear relevance to character in a sitting senator, even one who's replacing Teddy Waitress Sandwich Kennedy.
Nor are M & M interested in the fact that Warren has been practicing law without a license, a small detail when it comes to representing companies or even in the government in front of the Supreme Court.
That detail would only be relevant if in the character of someone whose title bears an "R."
Will we learn later the "Republican" is again actually a Democrat operative?
Obviously this is part of the psy ops campaign run by the Left (Democrats and media) to persuade the impressionable that an Obama win is inevitable.
This is not a new technique for the Left; Christina Hoff Sommers exposed this feminist tactic in Who Stole Feminism? when a college women's organization conducted a "study" which "proved" that women are beaten on Superbowl Sunday and then locked the study away refusing to let anyone look at it or observe the criteria upon which they based their findings.
Yet this study was (and still is) cited year after year as proof of abuse and how mean men are; millions of dollars were funneled into "crisis" centers, where their records were doctored to appear to verify the study.
Sort of a Piltdown Man hoax.
Or maybe a "oh, but I made a copy of the original before it got lost" Peking Man who only a few people saw.
Included in his analysis is the echo chamber theory. Gallup, an organization which has been sued by the Obama Department of Justice, airily waves away concerns about imbalance:
So I guess that means Gallup will continue to ask more Democrats who they're going to vote for because of the 2008 election but that "party identification" isn't important because, um, more people are voting for Democrats anyway, as evidenced by their imbalanced polls.
So let me get this straight.
You ask more Leftists who they're voting for then cite the fact that everyone you asked is voting Left as proof that everyone's voting Left.
So there you have it.
A corrupt, nearly dead Press Corpse flailing against the reality that they've descended to such stupidity that one can only laugh at them rather than take anything they disclose as serious news.
They're dying and they have no one to blame but themselves.
So take your brainwashed screaming Mimis with you on the way into the crypt.
You can call each other on your free government issued cell phones.
******EXAMPLE NUMBER ONE******
At MSNBC, The Morning Joe crew mocsk Romney for something that never happened but HEY! It's news even if WE created the news, right? The morning crew plays a tape of a Romney/Ryan rally in which the banner claims Romney forced the crowd to say HIS name instead of Ryan's, as if he is an egotistical narcissistic casual bastard like certain other politicians with whom we are familiar.

******EXAMPLE NUMBER TWO******
Example number 2 is, again, MSNBC/akaNBC News, this time where "newscasters" claim that the MSM hasn't been covering the presidential race very well.

That detail would only be relevant if in the character of someone whose title bears an "R."
******EXAMPLE NUMBER 3******
Example number 3 appears in a CBS video of 3 Ohioans who simply cannot find their way into voting for Romney. Naturally 2 of the 3 are "leaning" Obama (why be TOO obvious, after all?) while the "Republican" is unhappy that Romney is "too conservative."Will we learn later the "Republican" is again actually a Democrat operative?
Obviously this is part of the psy ops campaign run by the Left (Democrats and media) to persuade the impressionable that an Obama win is inevitable.
******EXAMPLE NUMBER 4******
Our last example is found with the polls in which the media creates the news and releases that news to the echo chamber of Leftist media outlets, who then cite the echo chamber as further proof that the created news is real.

Or maybe a "oh, but I made a copy of the original before it got lost" Peking Man who only a few people saw.
******EXAMPLE NUMBER 5*******
In keeping with the "all the news that's fit to create" philosophy of today's corrupt media, DaTechGuy's blog has another excellent analysis of the use of polls to shape public opinion, including Gallup's dismissal of the theory that polling more Leftists than Conservatives influences the outcome of the polls.Included in his analysis is the echo chamber theory. Gallup, an organization which has been sued by the Obama Department of Justice, airily waves away concerns about imbalance:
Now if a given poll in Ohio in this election shows Obama with a 10-percentage-point lead, one should just ask, “How likely is it that Obama would be ahead by 10 points if he won by five points in 2008?” — forgetting party identification, which we assume is going to be higher for the Democratic Party if Obama is ahead, anyway.Um.
So I guess that means Gallup will continue to ask more Democrats who they're going to vote for because of the 2008 election but that "party identification" isn't important because, um, more people are voting for Democrats anyway, as evidenced by their imbalanced polls.
So let me get this straight.

Finally MSM Begins to Question What Went Wrong in Benghazi
Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and Jay Carney has all lied and mislead the American people about the attack that killed Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans. According to Eli Lake at the Daily Beast;
Within 24 hours of the 9-11 anniversary attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, U.S. intelligence agencies had strong indications al Qaeda–affiliated operatives were behind the attack, and had even pinpointed the location of one of those attackers. Three separate U.S. intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast said the early information was enough to show that the attack was planned and the work of al Qaeda affiliates operating in Eastern Libya.
The intelligence officials who spoke to The Daily Beast did so anonymously because they weren't authorized to speak to the press. They said U.S. intelligence agencies developed leads on four of the participants of the attacks within 24 hours of the fire fight that took place mainly at an annex near the Benghazi consulate. For one of those individuals, the U.S. agencies were able to find his location after his use of social media. “We had two kinds of intelligence on one guy,” this official said. “We believe we had enough to target him.”
The culprit here if one is to believe the popular media was Mitt Romney who spoke without knowing all the details and ignored the long tradition of bipartisanship on matters of national security. The State Department and Jay Carney are reticent to comment since there is an ongoing investigation conducted by the FBI which has not yet - 18 days after the attack - made its way to Benghazi because it's too dangerous. Exactly why an Ambassador was allowed to move about Benghazi unprotected or a CNN news team, presumably also unprotected could prowl the consulate grounds and turn up the now famous diary while law enforcement must hide out two hundreds miles away is a question someone might want to ask Carney.
Finally ABC has broken ranks with the rest of the wooden soldiers in Obama's war on truth and is reporting the obvious fact that, sure enough, the attack was organized, well planned, and had nothing to do with any YouTube video.
Aside from Fox, ABC and CNN the rest of the television medium seems to think giving Susan Rice an opportunity to lie her sorry ass off on air fulfills it's obligation to inform the public on what went wrong on 9/11. As usual the national press cannot bring itself to fault the president. The strongest words expressed toward the media perhaps come from one time Obama supporter Kirsten Powers. She states the media bias is out of control and says that the media could possibly be complicit in another terrorist attack on America if they don’t get to the bottom of what is happening here.

Allen West's Hard Hitting Ad
I'm sure almost everyone has seen the ad where a caricature of Congressman Allen West as a boxer repeatedly punches a women in the face. It is paid for by
American Sunrise PAC which is run by the father of his opponent Patrick Murphy. Of course many in the liberal media extol comedy in campaign ads as long as the ads are directed at Republicans. Boys will be boys. Nothing to see here. The ad ends with the line,
"But it's time for us to fight back and knock him out of Congress once and for all."
The great political ethicist Barack Obama is fond of telling friendly crowds how in Chicago when one is hit he should punch back twice as hard. West took Obama at his word and landed a hay maker square on Murphy's jaw that has the left blogosphere screaming bloody murder. From the Gawker; "Allen West’s Insane Attack Ad: Opponent Patrick Murphy Is a Belligerent Drunk"
It seems West did his fighting in Iraq while Murphy saw combat in a South Beach, Miami bar. When the Murphy campaign brought up Colonel West's aggressive interrogation techniques that resulted in his early departure from the Army the West campaign put up a website "Patrick Murphy's Law" prominently featuring the mug shot and explaining his "night out," including a link to the police report from 2003.

Will poll manipulation work?
Early voting begins in Ohio next Tuesday. We've all received absentee requests and should begin receiving the absentees soon, as per Husted's new policy.
The very very negative for Romney polls that we've all been seeing are intended to suppress Republican/conservative voter turnout, as many conservatives have discussed the last several weeks.
Indeed the manipulation of the polls has been remarkable, revealing several motivations and purposes:
The very very negative for Romney polls that we've all been seeing are intended to suppress Republican/conservative voter turnout, as many conservatives have discussed the last several weeks.
Indeed the manipulation of the polls has been remarkable, revealing several motivations and purposes:
- Purposely skewed polls become the news themselves, rather than reflect the mood of the populace. Only ask people on landlines and you'll get a certain response. Only ask people who are home during the day and you'll get a certain response. Ask only people in certain target areas and you'll get another response.
- Skewed polls serve the purpose of pushing Leftist (usually) agendas on the voter. Manipulation of the question will produced the desired response. Is the wording of the questions available? If not, why not?
- There are many ways to manipulate polls, including basing the demographic on previous voter turnout such as the 2008 pro-Obama demographic. Though most pollsters doubt the enthusiasm of the Obama voter this election, the enthusiasm of the "free phone free school loans free everything" voter can't be overlooked. They've gotten free stuff and their appetites are whetted for me. OTOH, real workers aren't so happy about providing all that free stuff for freeloaders.
- Now Nolte at Breitbart points out another reason for pumping up the early polls--the attempt to swing the early vote. The problem with that theory is that if you haven't made your mind up yet, you're probably not that eager to get to the voting booth yet. That said, it's hard to believe that anyone who's planning on voting hasn't made up their mind yet.
- Reporters are actually making up facts and citing supposedly satirical stories as fact without bothering to check the veracity.
And that's how bad it's gotten with today's press.
You may have missed the story of Politico's chief political columnist Roger Simon's "satire" piece in Politico in which he claimed Paul Ryan was off the reservation and calling Romney "Stench." Of course, all the Leftists in the media fell for it, without questioning the source, who happened to be one of those chronically disaffected dyspeptic Republican consultants who doubles as an Eeyore for the rest of us.
Other of the "news corpse" cite "facts" that are completely fabricated.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
To be honest, the influence of the MSM has been nearly dead for quite some time now. The rise of the new media made that possible and thrives as a result of the negligence of the so-called professionals.
When you talk to people about politics these days, it seems like people really really know what's going on or they don't.
You might call it the Moron Vote.
But those of us who do know what's going on, really know.
And we're organized.

Romney protesters paid $11 hourly
This is pretty standard procedure by the unions, as opposed to Tea Party and Libertarian protests, which are grass roots uprisings, contrary to Nancy Pelosi's hopeful delusions.

Free Obama Phones! Vote Obama!
This video has already gone viral.
We've covered the whole free cell phone thing before and its $1 billion plus cost to the taxpayers, along with a lot of other free stuff from Obama, like free internet for the "needy," like this woman.
In fact, the free cell phone thing has been around a while, along with free upgrade to the furnace, free furnace checks, free education, free birth control.
Huh.
Everything free but speech. And diet. And business regulations. Free debt relief. You know the drill.
Actually the first time I heard this audio, I was horrified. The second time, I couldn't stop laughing. And laughing. And laughing.
Add this to the Howard Stern interviews of Obama supporters and you'll begin to see what Rush calls Obama's appeal to the "moron voter."
Talk to the average Tea Partier and you'll get an intelligent eager discussion about recent events, not agreement on everything, but a sense of urgency that we are losing our country to people, some of whom in this case are minority voters but who also include intransigent union voters who want more and more money from the taxpayers for their pensions and their health care.
In fact, talking to Tea Partiers usually means you'll relinquish being the most informed person in the room because you've got real competition of people who eagerly scour the web to keep themselves current.
Yes, we have much work to do.
And no, these videos are not jokes.
They're real.

Thousands turn out in Toledo IN THE RAIN
THOUSANDS turn out for Romney in Toledo, which is absolutely the heart of Obamabot country.
It was pouring in Toledo and the lines wrapped around the corners waiting to get in.
Take a look at this from Robert Stacey McCain:
Interesting that Newt called Obama out yesterday on Greta, calling him "lazy," which is the first time I've really heard someone call him that, which he is, of course.

Newt Is All In For Todd Akin
Back in August I asked on this blog Is Akin That Bad? . In that post I posed the possibility that Todd Akin would not withdraw from the Missouri senate race. Today that possibility became reality as the deadline for Akin's withdrawal has come and gone. So will the GOP cede a seat that may be essential to controlling the senate and repealing Obamacare?
Immediately after the "legitimate rape" issue PPP, a Democratic poll, found Akin to still be leading by a single point. Considering the polling firm's ties to the Democratic party the poll is suspect, probably a ruse to get the Gop to back a hopelessly flawed candidate. A later Rasmussen poll found Akin down by 6 points 49% to 43%. As bad as Akin may have seemed at the time McCaskill still couldn't get to 50%. So after Paul Ryan called on him to quit and RNC chair Reince Priebus promised he wouldn't get a dime from the party Todd Akin is standing pat and he is attracting support from Newt Gingrich and Republican rebel Jim DeMint.
Today Newt Gingrich remarked that if saying dumb things disqualified one from holding office Biden couldn't be Vice President. This video is a little long but most of it is vintage Gingrich. It's both informative and entertaining.

Romney Gains on Karl Rove's Electoral Map
Dick Morris: Romney: Romney Will Carry Florida, Ohio, Nevada, Virginia and Pennsylvania
Dick Morris thinks Romney will carry
Florida, Ohio, Nevada, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
I'm aware of the Pennsylvania poll to which Morris refers. I was reluctant to cite it since I know little about the polling firm, Susquehanna Polling & Research. The poll shows Obama leading by just one point 48% to 47%. It also shows Tea Party founder Tom Smith to be within 3 points of Bob Casey 45% to 42%.

Ohio's Median Income at 27 Year Low
The next time Obama or Biden are in Ohio touting the success of this administration's failed economic policy it would be nice if someone would ask them why the hell median income has declined so much. Ohio households are more pinched for cash than they have been in 27 years. When adjusted for inflation, the 2010 annual median household income in Ohio of $46,093 was down by $543 from the previous year, and down 15.3 percent from the peak of $54,395 in 2000, according to the census’s Current Population Survey, which was released yesterday. The Census Bureau began collecting these data in 1984 and last year's inflation adjusted income was the lowest it has ever been.
Ohio’s level of poverty — 15.3 percent — was worse than the nation’s, which was at 15.1 percent. Ohio’s level jumped 2 percentage points from 2009; it has never been this high since those records were first kept in 1980. This means 1.74 million Ohio residents live in poverty.
The worst year before 2010 was 1994, when 14.1 percent of Ohioans were in poverty. Anyone for 4 more years?

PolitiFact Ohio Leans Left
Readers might think that
PolitiFact Ohio has a port side list. One reason it might lean left is because its make up is 4:1 Democrat. Ohio Media Trackers generated the graphic below.
Take heart, Mateys: Hoping for change
In our town, Obama/Biden signs have popped up in yards, along with other Democrat supportive signs. It appears the only way that Romney signs have gotten into eager hands is through Ebay or sales from the Romney website. The campaign promises to deliver signs "soon."
Of course, this is demoralizing to those of us who simply cannot understand how anyone in their right mind could support such a destructive, narcissistic selfish candidate as the one we have currently in office.
But it's all part of the psy-ops campaign that is being run against those of us who quietly do our jobs, hope for better days and work to support this great nation and the vision its founding fathers wrote into our early documents.
The press corpse has been relentless in presenting Obama as having already won; he's the best candidate, according to them. Any way they can spin a Romney action as a "gaffe" they do, while completely ignoring or dismissing Obama gaffes, mistakes, blunders and outright deceptions.
Kevin DuJan of Hillbuzz has himself been relentlessly upbeat in pursuing the falseness of polling, the negative impact of Republican Eeyores and press bias.
Today he offers several reasons he believes Obama is, in fact, worried about reelection, including the fact that Michelle Obama is actively playing the race/slavery card. Kevin has lots of reasons to be optimistic over there at Hillbuzz.
Here's a bit from another article by Kevin:

Here's a bit from another article by Kevin:
I’ve really had enough of this garbage and am tired of fellow conservative writers helping Barack Obama by deliberately posting negative stories about the Romney campaign that supporters of Obama ENCOURAGE these clowns to write. Starting today, look for a DAILY DOOM ANTIDOTE to this nonsense and supported by actual Ground Reports from people coast to coast who’ll help counter everything that MSNBC, CNN, the Times, and even some conservative sites keep saying to reinforce the chosen meme that “Obama is inevitable! We’re doomed! Surrender now! So, so DOOOOMED!”.
We've already written about the fact that most of the polls out there skew liberal and left for a number of reasons.
Now a new website called Unskewed Polls has popped up that removes the artificial "balance" pollsters give to make sure current polls reflect the fact that more people declared themselves Democrats in 2008 than Republican, a fact that no longer holds true.
Unskewed Polls gives Romney a substantial to overwhelming lead.
The PJ Tatler discourages believing that Unskewed Polls is accurate, just that it skews its own polls differently.
We'll see.
Though Leftists are highly motivated this election cycle, their numbers have fallen as people have seen how destructive Leftist policies are to the economy and to personal liberty.
And even more highly motivated are Americans who simply do not want to be ruled as opposed to governed, a detail that both Republicans and Democrats and most particularly Leftists like to overlook.
If the Chick-Fil-A, Obama's America 2016 movement and the turnout at Romney/Ryan events are any indication, we are justified in hoping for change.

Complaint: CNN should not have read Stevens' diary
Over at Hot Air (where Hill Buzz has complained an army of conservative Eeyores blog), Jazz Shaw claims that CNN was despicable for having read and used the contents for research of the diary of the murdered Ambassador to Libya Stevens.
CNN crossed a line, Shaw says in a post called "Should CNN have read Stevens' Journal?", by using the diary to track down leads regarding Stevens' fears that al Qaeda was taking over in the area and his life was in danger. Here's a sample:
It seems to me that in the course of a murder any documents of interest relating to the crime are necessary to determine what happened.
It also seems to me that, whether written in the capacity of a government official or not, a "diary" account of what was happening in the landscape is significant to understanding present and future security issues.
Shaw complains that, simply because something is "newsworthy" it should not automatically become public knowledge, a point of view I don't disagree with.
Shaw also says that CNN appeared to not have cooperated with the State Department, thus making them outlaws, or, shall we say, purveyors of truth for a change in this administration.
But a murder was committed here and our government has repeatedly dissembled, lied about and peed on the public's right to know, much less the family's.
CNN performed a public service by exposing Stevens' fears about the lack of stability in Libya and his concern over his own safety.
For God's sake, the man was slaughtered.
How we can be talking about a 7 page diary as off limits after what happened is beyond belief.
For their part, CNN thought they got around political liability by using the information inside Stevens' diary to corroborate with outside sources.
Shaw says CNN should have allowed State to handle the diary and the details, but we know how that goes, considering that they claimed for days that the assault was not planned.
Add to that the fact that this diary became public knowledge by virtue of its lying on the floor unsecured and unclaimed by any investigators, and you have a witches' brew of deception, sloppiness and unconcern about the safety of human beings.
It was more important apparently to try to convince the Libyans that we weren't a threat rather than keep Americans, their allies and documents safe.
And that's a brew that culminated in the death of four Americans and continues to this day in concealing the truth.

Where can we expect the media to draw the line on something like this? Is the personal journal of a dead man not off bounds? (Though clearly the State Department deserved a look at it.) A private journal is not some official government document obtained through a Freedom of Information request. And they can’t claim that it’s the same as an interview. (I’ve done more than a few myself.) When a reporter wants to ask about your private musings, you can refuse. Or, at a minimum, insist that the conversation is off the record. Ambassador Stevens had no such opportunity. CNN tore into his book, whipped out their cell phones and began getting ready to go to press over the objections of the dead man’s family.I simply could not disagree more.

Senator Joel Lieberman is an Undecided Voter
Senator Joel Lieberman is not the stereotypical undecided voter, having run for vice president on the Democratic ticket in 2004, but he remains undecided. This must be great comfort to the Obama camp considering he is probably the most prominent Jewish American in the county.
When a questioner follows up to ask whether he's undecided, Lieberman says, "Yeah, I really am."
"Why?," the questioner asks. "Well, because it's a complicated decision, and there's a lot left before the Election Day, particularly the debates, which I think are going to be very important. And, you know, I'm exercising the glorious liberty that an independent has to not make up one's mind until one goes into the booth to vote."

US Outsourced Benghazi Consulate Security to the Muslim Brotherhood
What is most remarkable about the Benghazi killings, 12 days after the fact, is the country is yet to hear from an eye witness despite reports that the consulate had a staff of 37. It was reported shortly after the attack that the staff had been evacuated to the embassy in Tripoli where apparently they have little interest in speaking with the press. The FBI supposedly is conducting its investigation of the Benghazi attack in the security of Tripoli and one might suspect they have given the surviving staff the usual warnings about not talking about the details of an ongoing investigation, at least until after the election.
What could they say that would be damaging to the Obama administration? Well, for one thing they might make the point that their security had been entrusted to the Muslim Brotherhood. If that is indeed the truth than what could have possibly gone wrong?
Two U.S. intelligence officials told The Daily Beast that the intelligence community is currently analyzing an intercept between a Libyan politician whose sympathies are with al Qaeda and the Libyan militia known as the February 17 Brigade—which had been charged with providing local security to the consulate. In the intercept, the Libyan politician apparently asks an officer in the brigade to have his men stand down for a pending attack—another piece of evidence implying the violence was planned in advance.
UN Ambassador Susan Rice tried to sell the notion that the two former navy SEAL's that died in the attack were the body guards of Ambassador Chris Stevens but now that assertion is widely dismissed by everyone outside the administration. The consulate was dependant for security upon indigenous militia groups and The February 17 Brigade appears to be the prime group and the Brigade is suspect among Libyan politicians.
Many more-secular politicians in Libya are suspicious of Mr. Bukatef and his brigade because of their own Islamist reputation. He has been a member of Libya’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, and one of his group’s commanders reporting to him is Ismail al-Salabi, who leads a group of Islamist fighters and is the brother of Libya’s most prominent Islamist thinker, Ali al-Salabi.
The Telegraph did track down an eye witness who was wounded in the attack. The witness was one of an unarmed five-man squad employed by Blue Mountain security. He contradicts Rice's claim that there was a demonstration proceeding the attack but states as the attack began ; "There was a national security (police) car outside - when we heard shooting we then heard the car switch on its engine and speed up the road."
Maybe the guard's statement is not factual. Maybe the national security police where just fleeing out of sense of self preservation or maybe the security police were given the orders to stand down. What is certain is the fact that the American public is being kept from learning the truth by the Obama Administration.

The coverup continues: ambassador's diary
The intelligence agencies of this administration, whether its partisan arms or career "non-partisan", look more and more like the Keystone Kops, spinning out of of control, completely ineffectual and more of a cartoon than a security force.
Four days after the brutal torture and murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, CNN found his diary in the compound where Stevens was assaulted; CNN reported that the compound was virtually "unsecured."
That in itself is appalling. While we were informed that the FBI was being sent to investigate the murders, now we know either that wasn't so or they sent over novices.
Perhaps we've seen too many NCIS episodes, but one would think that a crime scene would have been investigated so things like diaries would be picked up, confiscated and inspected for possible clues to the identity of the murderers.
Call me crazy but it doesn't look like that actually happening, considering that any reporter walking by could go into the building, pick the diary up off the floor and read that the Ambassador had fear about the rise of terrorism and al Qaeda in his neighborhood.
So naturally CNN processed the information (like any good investigative reporter, something we haven't seen recently except on NCIS and the like) and returned the diary to the family.
This administration did not LIKE the fact that CNN found this information and in fact bound them to secrecy in consideration of the family. Here is the State Department's statement:
Like the fact that Stevens was concerned with the lack of security.
Like the fact that State did nothing in spite of those concerns, whether relayed by Stevens or not, intelligence should have informed them of the situation.
Or was there any intelligence in the war torn country of Libya?
So why does the administration continue to lie, stonewall and cover up national security issues?
Rather than blame CNN for revealing the diary, why didn't State own it first?
What else are they hiding?

"Given the truth of how this was handled, CNN patting themselves on the back is disgusting," Reines said in his statement.
"Whose first instinct is to remove from a crime scene the diary of a man killed along with three other Americans serving our country, read it, transcribe it, email it around your newsroom for others to read" and then call the family?" Reines asked.
In a phone call with the Stevens family, CNN "agreed to abide by the clear wishes of the Stevens family, and pledged not to use the diary or even allude to its existence until hearing back from the family," Reines said. Now, as disgusted as the State Department is in their denunciation of the news organization, one just might be a little suspicious that State has a selfish motive of their own for keeping this quiet.
Like the fact that Stevens was concerned with the lack of security.

Megyn Kelly Exposes Mother Jones and David Corn as Charlatans
Here's a good example why only 26% of Republicans trust the news media. In an excellent report
Megyn Kelly exposed the critical editing of the secret Romney video in which viewers are led to believe Romney has given up on a settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
Illinois School Teacher Lives in Homeless Shelter
It's been sometime since I've posted anything about impoverished Illinois school teachers but believe it or not, but Henry Wolfson, a long time substitute school teacher, lives in a homeless shelter. After the Chicago Tribune ran the story of Wolfson's plight students raised $40,000 for the dedicated public servant but the Trib had left out one critical detail. Wolfson had gambled away $180,000.
Eventually the Tribune did find the rest of the story.
Wolfson had received $247,000 in 2007 from a trust established by his late parents, as well as $12,000 in 2011 from the settlement of a lawsuit against his sister and her husband. …[He] said Thursday that he had lost about $180,000 betting on horses in a little more than a year at off-track betting parlors.
“Subbing is a poor sole source of income. The pay is low and the work inconsistent.” said Wolfson

60% of Americans Don't Trust the Media
Don't trust the media? You are not alone. Sixty percent of Americans feel the same way. According to Gallup distrust of the media is at a all time high with only 40% of the population having "a great deal" or "a fair amount" of confidence in the popular news media.
The good news for the media is that 58% of Democrats seem to to like them.

CNN Finds Ambassador Steven's Diary
The State Department is in a snit with CNN over a diary belonging to slain Ambassador Chris Stevens it found in the U.S. consulate in Benghazi. Putting aside the feelings of the family of the late ambassador it seems the State Department has a lot more to apologize for than CNN. The diary was found 4 days after the attack so evidently anyone had access to the consulate which raises the obvious question, what other documents were carried off and by whom? Supposedly the FBI is investigating the raid but the area was not secured. Phillipe Reines blasted CNN saying, " "First instinct is to remove from a crime scene the diary of a man killed along with three other Americans serving our country, read it, transcribe it, email it around your newsroom for others to read' and then call the family?"
Oh yes, took it from a crime scene as if this were an episode from CSI. The administration is clearly trying to label this as as a crime rather than an act of terrorism. Next we'll hear it was work place violence. What really has State upset is the contents of the diary. Ambassador Stevens was worried about " the never ending security threats" and the rise of Islamic extremism and he was on a hit list. A week ago Susan Rice was telling all who would listen that everything was hunky dorry in Libya until the infamous YouTube video unleashed righteous anger which resulted in Steven's death. Apparently she never had spoken to Stevens before his death. Good for CNN.

Democratic Party $ 8 million in Hock to SEIU
Haven't seen enough crony capitalism? The Democratic Party is taking it to a new level. The party has secured an $8 million loan from Amalgamated Bank which is owned by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The party is $11 million in debt. Of course political parties do borrow money from banks but this cozy arrangement should raise eyebrows. To put it nicely the Democratic Party is in hock to the SEIU a major party constituency group. Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was pleased to announce the collusion.
"The committee, she said, had a “fiduciary responsibility to those who invest in our party.”
Right Debbie, your party has a history of confusing spending with investment so I suppose it's any easy step to confuse a loan with an investment but a fiduciary responsibility? Why the hell is the party down $11 million this early in the game?

Obama Is Lying About The Benghazi Murders
There is no ongoing FBI investigation in Benghazi. The FBI agents won't venture out of Tripoli since it is too dangerous. Presumably the nation will be content to get a highly speculative finding of fact sometime in the remote future or at least after the election. The Obama administration is playing politics with national security and that is disgraceful. Congressman Buck McKeon Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee says as much in the video below.
Meet Bishop E.W.Jackson
Have you heard of
“Exodus Now ? Exodus Now is a movement in the black community that may be getting some national attention soon. It is lead by Bishop E. W. Jackson a prominent black pastor and his
call to “come out from among them” means leave the Democrat Party.
Jackson is the head pastor of the non-denominational Exodus Faith Ministry in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is a former Marine, and a graduate of Harvard Law School. He practiced law for 15 years in Boston and started the city's first and only all-gospel radio station. He also ran in the Virginia Republican primary for senate losing to George Allen.
Finally... We Begin to Hear the Truth About Benghazi
Practically nothing we have heard relative to the murders of four Americans in Libya is true. The Obama administration has deliberately misled the American public on the details of an attack on this country for political gain. If there is a precedent in American history for behavior this loathsome I am unaware of it. Frequently first reports are wrong and past administrations have hastened to update the citizenry with accurate information simply because they felt it owed it to the country. Not the Obama regime. Sunday it sent Ambassador Susan Rice to five news shows to boldly misstate the fact surrounding the killings in Benghazi.
The administration has used the Department of Justice as appendage of the Obama campaign by sending FBI agents to California to roust the film maker out of bed in the middle of the night to further perpetrate the charade that the film, Innocence of Muslims was the cause of death of the four Americans. The Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Martin Dempsey personally called Reverend Terry Jones begging him not to associate himself with the film. Are we to believe Dempsey did not know the details of the attack on the consulate. This behavior is disgraceful and the primary if not the sole purpose of this subterfuge is to keep the public in the dark until after the election. The revelation that there was no riot or even a demonstration proceeding the attack on the consulate has been ignored for the most part by the MSM but CBS is an exception.

Ad Ties Obama to the Muslim Brotherhood
Ouch! The conservative PAC, Let Freedom Ring will begin running this ad which accuses Obama of being in sympathy with the Muslim brotherhood. I don't know if ads like this swing many votes but I can see how they could demoralize the base. The one-minute ad is part of a $7 million online campaign, which is being launched in Wisconsin, Virginia, and Pennsylvania with less than 50 days until the election.
The online ad attacks Obama for inviting the Muslim Brotherhood to the White House and supporting it financially. It blames Obama for the rise of anti-American riots across the Middle East, and also blasts the Obama administration for giving Egypt $1.5 billion in foreign aid.

Horrifying new Obama campaign banner
Instapundit points us to a horrifying, shocking and disgusting picture.
What is it?
It's a picture of the new "Obama flag" being sold by the campaign, structured to emphasize allegiance to The One, not the country.
Yet its similarity to the unphotoshopped image taken from exterior of the consulate in Libya escaped the attention of the Obama campaign.
You know.
Those people who have been tweeting about amusing make-believe pirates while ignoring the real ones.
Those people who fly to Vegas after the horrendous murder of Stevens; in fact, those who can actually go to sleep, not knowing the fate of someone he appointed to a perilous position.
You know. Those people who continue to party on to rivers of champagne while our embassies and our people are fighting thousands and thousands of flames around the world.
The link to the visual history of the Obama cult is here; it has to be seen to be believed. We have seen this kind of human "worship" before. Cuba. North Korea. The Soviet Union. Germany.
Yeah. We've seen this before.
Meanwhile, the press corpse parties on.
Yeah. We've seen that before too.

Jessie Jackson Jr Selling House to Pay Medical Bills
Citing high healthcare costs Jessie Jackson is putting his modest 4 bedroom, $2.5 million home on the market.
“Like millions of Americans, Congressman Jackson and Mrs. Jackson are grappling with soaring healthcare costs and are selling their residence to help defray costs of their obligations,” said Rick Bryant, Jackson’s chief of staff. “The congressman would like to personally thank everyone who has offered prayers on behalf of his family.”
Are we to believe that congressional health insurance isn't good enough to sustain a congressman during a long illness? Something is wrong with this story. The senior Jackson own an Anheuser-Busch distributorship in Chicago and his son the congressman is going broke paying for rehab? He's giving up his seat? Hasn't he ever heard of Medicaid?

Exploding The Young Barack Obama Myth
The Washington Examiner has done some digging into Barack Obama's background and to no ones surprise has found much of his public persona is founded in fiction rather than fact. He and Michelle have both cultivated a Haratio Alger image but both went to private schools. Obama says his grandmother worked in a bank. True, but he was a vice president not a teller. Barack was not an especially good lecturer when he taught constitutional law; he was among the lowest ranked professors. As a lawyer he defended not the poor but slumlords. In short he was a pretty typical Chicago pol, a shyster lawyer, and a mediocre professor with a penchant for poor boying it.
Murphy's Law
Chris Murphy has been on defense since the day after he won the Democratic nomination for Senator from Connecticut. First his opponent, Linda McMahon pointed, out that he had missed three quarters of the committee's hearings while serving on the important House Banking and Financial Services Committee including hearing held during the financial meltdown of 2008. Then McMahon revealed that Murphy had had been sued for foreclosure on his home mortgage and a home equity line of credit. Next she hammered him over an eviction suit for nonpayment of rent. The latest personal scandal to surface is Murphy was late paying his property taxes on both his home and his car.
It's an understatement to say the man lacks personal responsibility but his entire campaign has been lackluster to put it kindly. Murphy has raised only $5.6 million while McMahon raised $14.1 million and added $13.1 million of her own. Nevertheless in blue Connecticut Murphy remains competitive but friends and local political pundits are publicly conceding that he is in trouble.

Contemptible Obama showers contempt to public
Barack Obama has nothing but contempt for the wars we have fought in response to being attacked for at least the THIRD time by Islamic extremists.
He also has nothing but contempt for those who disagree with him while at the same time claiming he's learned that he has to be president of "all the people," notwithstanding all the people he's dissed in four years.
He has contempt for cutting taxes ("letting" us keep OUR money), favoring redistribution of your stuff, money and life apparently under the assumption that "the concept of "redistribution" falsely implies that the existence of property is prior to the existence of the state."
Or maybe it's that all your money "are belong to us."
Who knows, at this point.
In an attempt to inoculate Obama from the public's dismay at understanding how deeply in debt we are and how desperate our condition is financially (we cannot keep printing money forever, nor paying exorbitant salaries and pensions to the baby boomers while the next generation shrinks and shrinks).
Obama's appearance on Letterman was contemptible itself in many ways.
Powerline suggests that Obama is the most dishonest politician ever to work in government in this country.
When appearing on Letterman last night, Obama pretended not to know how horrendous the deficit is, just as he's pretending that the vicious murders of Americans in Libya were the result of some stupid video rather than terrorist attacks in response to Obama's policies and abhorrence for the freedom of the West.
The truth is that Obama is not only dishonest but weak when it comes to dealing with the monsters we are facing overseas who despise freedom, independence and autonomy.
Obama complained that Republicans (of which this writer is NOT one) talked about him a great deal at the convention. The truth is that Dems complained much more about Romney with disparaging and nasty terms than anything at the Republican convention, which was tame in comparison.
Though several prominent Republicans have verbally assaulted and given up on Romney (you contemptible weasels!), it's pretty awesome that Romney's actually embracing the real argument, unlike the "most dishonest politician" Obama.

Preezy shames himself at fundraiser
Not that this Preezy is above shaming himself and his country, but here we go again.
You probably know that the PREEZY is making the rounds to various non-standard, shall we say, communication outlets.
Like going on Jimmy Kimmel, reciting the PREEZY monologue.
Like People Magazine.
And Entertainment Tonight.
And radio djs who "flirt with the POTUS" and ask profound questions like "What superpower do you want?
And like the Pimp with a Limp radio show.
But he also brags about hanging with celebrities, who adore him to the tune of childish justifications, foul abuse of his opponents and millions and millions of dollars.
So over at Legal Insurrection, blogger Joel Engel decided to take a look at where Obama was last night after he left the Letterman show:
How else could he spend 20 years with a minister with screams invectives about the United States?
And hang out with the likes of Bill Ayers, terrorist who bragged about his murderous activities?
And a crook who paid for his house in Chicago and is now in prison?
Or should be?
And radical socialists who mirror the Occupiers?
And sworn communists like Frank Marshall Davis?
I could go on.
The truth is he'll rent himself out and take money from anybody, even misogynists and vicious anti-Christianists.
I guess that's the difference between a PREEZY and a President.
Boy, Bill Clinton set that standard so high we didn't think it could go any lower.

Did you ever wonder who Jay-Z is? In case you don’t know, he’s a renowned hip-hop artist and entrepreneur who began his rise to .1 percent status by writing, uh, lyrics like this (caution: bad language ahead):
Motherfuckers wanna act loco
Hit ‘em wit, numerous shots with the fo’-fo’
Faggots wanna talk to po-po’s, smoke ‘em like cocoa
Fuck rap, coke by the boatload
Fuck that, on the run-by, gun high, one eye closed
Left holes through some guy clothes
Stop your bullshittin’, glock with the full clip
Motherfuckers better duck when the fool spit
One shot could make a nigga do a full flip
See the nigga layin’ shocked when the bullet hit
Make room in the Great American Songbook. No wonder Obama lavished such praise on him:
Every time I talk to Jay-Z, who is a brilliant talent and a good guy, I enjoy how he thinks.
And what about how Jay-Z acts?
In early December of 1999, Jay-Z was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault after Untertainment Records executive Lance “Un” Rivera wasstabbed once in the stomach and once in the shoulder. According to Newsweek, Jay-Z suspected that Rivera had released bootleg copies of his fourth album, an act that would lead to the loss of millions of dollars in rightful profits.
Jay-Z later pleaded guilty, and in a deal with prosecutors served three years probation for acts of violence that had been motivated by what Democrats like to call “greed”—which, come to think about it, pretty much describes the whole fundraiser.Of course, Barack Hussein Obama is known to, um, not be bothered by illegal activity, foul language, hateful speech and even terrorist activities in the lives of his compatriots.
How else could he spend 20 years with a minister with screams invectives about the United States?
And hang out with the likes of Bill Ayers, terrorist who bragged about his murderous activities?
And a crook who paid for his house in Chicago and is now in prison?

Preezy shames himself on Letterman
There are so many things wrong with Obama's behavior the last few weeks; unspeakable has been his reaction to the murder of a US ambassador.
First he and Hillary gave the oddly disjointed and dispassionate announcements of "concern" that anyone could be so mean as to murder representatives of the US; his behavior was not unlike his manner after the Fort Hood shootings. Does he think if he acts unconcerned about murders people won't think it's a big deal? Then he sends his representatives out to claim that the obviously planned Libyan murders were the result of anger over a stupid movie no one saw.
The he flew off to Las Vegas, giving the obligatory Fort Hoodish shoutout to the dead before he got down with his admirers, who repeatedly screamed "I love you!" in the middle of it.
Ugh.
The charade continues today this day with the false narration of the lack of security and the assault on the Libyan consulate.
Top it off with the photograph of a man being frog marched by men with brown shirts in the middle of the night to be questioned by the "authorities."
Mix this in with the interview with Pimp With a Limp and now the shameful appearance on David Letterman, where he lectures the world again on what his job is while somehow neglecting that job:
Breitbart has the lecture:
"One of the things I learned as president is you represent the entire country. If you want to be president, you have to work for everyone," Obama said.
"What people want to know though is you're not writing off a big chunk of the country because the way our democracy works ... this is a big country.
"When I won in 2008, 47 percent of the American people voted for John McCain," Obama said.
"They didn't vote for me and what I said on election night was: ?Even though you didn't vote for me, I hear your voices, and I'm going to work as hard as I can to be your president.'"
"There are not a lot of people out there who think they're victims," Obama said.
"There are not a lot of people who think they're entitled to something."How Letterman gets away with this without reciprocity to the Romney campaign is mystifying, but what's most ridiculous is that this man who is called POTUS has repeatedly and deliberately insulted most of America, in one way or another, whether it's about religion or abortion or civil rights or teh Constitution or their independence or their small businesses.
It's not just that.
Obama seems to take delight in flouting respect, in humiliating his opponents, in using dirty tactics to get what he wants and absolutely to disrespect this country and its long history of freedom and independence for the common man.
Since he's been running focused on Romney, we' ve had to endure repeated and lofty references to "my job" and "what I've learned as president," disdainfully proffered to a man he considers his inferior.
Truly the office of the president of the United States and its place in the world has been lowered in the last 4 years.
Or should I say the Preezy of the United Steezy.
Yeah, that's it.
