Occidental College Transcripts Reveal Obama Claimed Foreign Citizenship to Get Scholarship

Update...The following post, although running rampant throughout the blogosphere today, may very well be a hoax.  

In light of being unable to independently confirm the information posted and in our never ending pursuit of truth, justice and the American way, I would take it with a grain of salt.  ...or, maybe not!

Just released yesterday, Americans for Freedom of Information, using a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California, Occidental College records show that Barry Soertoro received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate.

Reported by the blog HardCoreNews Social Network, the transcript shows that Obama (Soertoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program.

To qualify for the scholarship a student must claim foreign citizenship.
