It's pretty interesting the way the MSM immediately jumps to Obama's defense when he speaks. Over at the Washington Post, Eugene Robinson, an Obama sycophant, coos that those Obama's words were good and meaningful, what was most impressive about his speech was the "gravitas" he projected. It's good for the country that others see that The One has finally embraced his inner Reagan.
The truth is, not so much.
The truth is that Obama's speech was listless, his eyes trailing the teleprompter's lines as his face moved slightly. His physiognomy was stiff and blank. His words were lifeless. In a weird way, Obama put forth a spaced out, disengaged effort, as if he were a puppet being manipulated by some other force.
