First we learned from Michael Isikoff that Mitt Romney's aides met with the Obama White House team to advise them on Obamacare. Now we learn that in 2005 that Obama's science czar met with then governor Romney's people to formulate Massachusetts' version of cap and trade. Are we sure Obama and Romney don't share the same toothbrush? So let's look to whom Romney looked to for advice. John Holdren, this administration's science czar wants to "de-develop" the United States into some kind of third world agrarian economy with a Leviathan sized government. He is straight from George Orwell's Animal Farm or the Khmer Rouge school of government. Obama got Obamacare and Romney got his jobs killing emissions caps so the two must work well together. What did not work out so well was power generation in the Bay State. According to the US Energy Information Administration (eia) whose latest data is for 2009, it dropped 18% in four years, from over 46 billion megawatt hours to 38 billion. International imports, however, went from 697 million megawatt hours in 2006 to 4.177 billion megawatt hours two years later, and to almost 5 billion megawatt hours in 2009, more than twice the amount imported in any of the previous twenty years.
And now one more embarrassing memento from Romney Care:
