Gallup: Most Blame Washington Not Wall Street

Could it be that the Occupy Wall Street crowd is out of the mainstream? Really? Ya think? Once significant point, in fact the only point the OWS crowd has made, that the big banks are responsible for the financial crisis is not shared by 64 percent of Americans who place the blame on government. According to a Gallup only 30 percent of Americans blame financial institution. Even Democrats by are margin of 49 to 46 percent blame Washington not Wall Street. Republicans blame Washington 82 to 16 percent.
