Jackson Lee Fumbles The Race Card

Hoping to preserve the southern Democratic tradition of assigning black children to inferior schools Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is calling for a civil rights investigation into the closing of a predominately black high school. The school which is being absorbed into the greater Houston school district has a long history of financial distress and poor academic achievement. But Jackson Lee says, "it may be the only African-American or multicultural district of this kind in the state, and it has value, it has history." Ok Congresswoman, let's hear it for Jim Crow.
