Bouncing back and hitting them in the face (accidentally, of course)

  Karl Rove, whose star isn't quite as shiny as it used to be, has an op ed in the WSJ today. He makes the point that when Bush was in office, the democrats were loudly complaining about the "jobless recovery" and demanding "where are the jobs?" 
  Democrats can claim that much of the debt is Bush's fault, which is only partially true, but they can't blame Bush for the failure to create new jobs since it is their policies that are driving this downturn at this point. When you have business unfriendly policies, nobody is going to risk creating jobs, particularly with the monster health care bill looming in the background. Read Rove here at the WSJ.
  Back to the whole green bully recycling thing we've been whipping for a couple days (because it's so easy), NY Times finally covered local discontent with the whole wind farm thing. It's just a few people, the Times squeaks, just a few are unhappy with the tremendous NOISE of the blades. And it's always the skeptical few that are the loudest complainers so obviously they're discredited. 
  In England, it's gotten so bad that government officials have had to "cover up" the damage windmills do to humans. Over at the TimesOnline:

Civil servants have suppressed warnings that wind turbines can generate noise damaging people’s health for several square miles around.

  The problem with the NY Times rationale is that the complaints are across numerous states and then there's that dang Youtube.
  But what's new about government lying to the people or, at a minimum, covering up the truth? Meh. No biggie. NPR:

"By initially underestimating the amount of oil flow and then, at the end of the summer, appearing to underestimate the amount of oil remaining in the Gulf," the report says, "the federal government created the impression that it was either not fully competent to handle the spill or not fully candid with the American people about the scope of the problem."

  Old Joe "Don't compare me to the Almighty" Biden has got critics even on the liberal side these days. Biden, whose rubbery face often carries one of the most artificial smiles known to man, is whipping the voters for being uninterested in the democrat cause and the terrible danger that looms if Republicans take over. 
  What Biden doesn't seem to realize is that most voters have come to understand that we are witnessing currently the worst administration of government in the history of the United States. Firedoglake has one point right: democrats can't win by constantly screaming at people and complaining about everyone but themselves. 
  They've passed monstrously unpopular bills and now are unwilling to claim their work. Everybody wants them to just stop but they are determined to press on and ruin every industry in the United States, it is feared.
  Their primary sales point is, ironically, the very reason many voters are supporting Republicans now: they aren't democrats. 
  What IS it with these democrats and saying we can "bounce back" from another terrorist attack? Of course we can and will, but the idea that this administration is so easily acquiescing to the idea of an attack is appalling. 
  Do they not REMEMBER September 11?
  Do they not REMEMBER the bodies falling from the towers, the bright blue sky, the ash, ash everywhere, the shock people were in? The damage to the airline industry and so many others? Do they not remember the pain of the families and those of us who could do nothing but watch?
  We can "bounce back"? 
  When did we ever hear Bush people talk like this? What is the motivation behind planting these ideas? 
  And speaking of that, would Bush ever have suggested he has the right to order the assassination of a US citizen without oversight? Wonder how the ACLU/democrats/liberal left/Code Pink crowd would react to THAT idea.
  And isn't it amazing how these RiNOS can so easily change suit coats when they're losing and swap to the other side of the issue and the aisle.
  Amazing.
