Follow this link to read the latest propaganda from Yahoo about the mosque being built near 9/11. Rather than quote it here, you can read for yourself the slanted approach Yahoo takes in dealing with those people who want to stop the building of the mosque near the twin trade towers. Instead of presenting sides fairly, John Cook, the writer decided to take the slant that the folks who oppose this mosque have traditionally supported the building of religious buildings in other places.
Again, this is not an ordinary situation. This is not an ordinary worship center. These people have the right to be upset and express their points of view regarding this center.
If this imam really cared about the sensitivities of people who oppose this mosque and he really wanted to establish a partnership of peace with the community, he would stop and say, "Enough. We care about what you think."
This is appalling. It's the location. And why won't the builders want to disclose the source of the money provided for this mosque?
