Romney Bests Obama in Latest PPP Poll
The latest Public Policy Polling national poll has Romney beating Obama by 2 points; 47-45. This is the first time Romney has led in this poll since July. Romney benefits from a more unified party than Obama. Among Republican 88 % say they are committed to voting for Romney. Only 83% of Democrats will commit to vote for Obama. Obama beats Gingrich 49-44 percent. He beats Paul by the same margin 46-41 percent. Bachmann loses by 9, 50-41 percent and Perry loses by 10, 50-40 percent. In a three way race with Paul running as the third party candidate he would get 17%, Obama would get 42% and Romney would receive 37%
