They seem to be in a rut because they're doing it again today.
Barbara Boxer, do you know the meaning of the word literally?
Literally means it's real and happening.
If you mean to say figuratively, that's a different matter, suggesting that the listener can extrapolate that something is going to happen from the circumstances.
We say that to indicate that old Barbara is claiming that Republicans want to literally kill people:
"They have attached a poison pill -- literally, colleagues -- because it will kill 8,100 more people more than would have otherwise been killed from pollution," Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Cali.) said on the Senate floor today about Republicans trying to roll back a Clean Air Act provision.Please.
Republicans included a measure to kill an EPA regulation in their payroll tax cut proposal.
Do you know how many EPA regulations there are?
I don't either but there's one for every sector.
We're so tired of these specious arguments. It's for the children. It'll kill people. People will starve. Babies will die. Old ladies will be thrown off a cliff.
Sigh.
Next.
Left Coast Rebel points to the latest fundraising letter from Dems, "trolling" for Republican email addresses.
Seriously.
Here's the fundraiser:
Friend --What kind of mentality is this, to give away your so-called friends' email addresses to somebody they can't stand?
Everyone's got that special conservative in their life.
Maybe it's your dad, who forwards you every chain email about the President's birth certificate, or your neighbor, who just put up a Mitt Romney sign.
Dealing with these folks can be ... frustrating.
This holiday season, we're giving you a chance to have a little bit of fun at their expense. Let a Republican in your life know they inspired you to make a donation to the Obama campaign -- chip in $3 or more today.
When you give to the campaign, simply enter your Republican friend's email address and they'll get a note letting them know that they motivated you to donate -- which will surely make their day.
What kind of people are these, that they are so hateful to do such things?
H8trs. (It looks like it's illegal for Obama to send those unsolicited spam emails.)
I grieve for mankind.
Then there's "Lotus" who has "faith in humanity" that her 4 year old child who she placed on the railroad tracks won't be run over by the engineer who's running the train.
Huh. It'd be nice if her poor kid could have faith in her mother to keep her safe instead of using her as a prop.
Hissssss.
Loony tunes.
And over at MSNBC they're calling MItt Romney a KKK member because of his latest campaign slogan.
That is one big WTF.
Oh, and did you ever realize that the "higher a monkey climbs on a pole the more you can see his butt"?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
These are classy folks.
One might ask, however, if these people are so confident why are they reaching so far and so hard to make these ridiculous points?
