Govt oversight--2 days floating dead in a pool

Now that the government is set to take over health care and is increasingly squeezing citizens to behave the way the government wants you to behave, every incident of government malfeasance instills yet more dread in the heart that yearns for choice.
The latest horror story involves a swimming pool.
A woman was dead in the pool for two days. No one noticed. People swam (and undoubtedly gulped water) in the same water in which a decaying body floated.
Now we learn that not only did no life guards or pool people notice the dead body floating for two days, we also discover that the city passed the pool as acceptable.
Well, yes, the water was so dark no one could see their feet.
And, yes, she (the body) was floating in the deep end.
And, yes, the city permit had expired on the pool.
But the two inspectors passed the pool because they claim the pH and chlorine levels were normal.
This government oversight took place in Massachusetts, the state whose health care plan, described as a train wreck, is the model for national health care.
That would be Fall River, Massachusetts, home of the infamous murderer Lizzie Borden.
  Omen.
