Seems the left is deteriorating into threatening violence again, like Claire McCaskill did the other day, saying it's time to get the pitchforks out.
Calls for violence from the left to get what they want are nothing new, sad to say.
Also at The Blaze and at Hot Air is commentary about the FCC's power grab, as The Blaze terms it. What? Power grab by this administration? Who could imagine it, considering the Department of Transportation, the TSA, and the EPA are only the most recent federal entities to reach their sticky fingers into our lives.
Here's a sampling of what's at Hot Air:
First we have Michael Copps, who last week demanded not only the authority to enforce campaign-finance reform (usually the purview of the FEC), but also the authority to order music stations to broadcast news shows, and for networks to give up 25% of prime-time air to locally-produced shows:Not even gonna comment on what that FCC commissioner calls the kiddies whose right it is to have free internet. Not even gonna comment. Go there and hear it youseself.
Then Halperin hopes there's some catastrophe to help The One make a comeback.
This is a bit off topic but I guess Obama's deterioration, he being the major force on the left, is germane. Normally I don't put a lot of stock in psychological opinion when the practitioner has never met the subject but Sam Vaknin's take on the One's narcissism is worth listening to. The really unique thing about Obama is there are no personal friends or family that can speak to his personality. In spite of the fact he seems to have siblings spread all over the globe none of them know him personally. No one knows him from Occidental, or Columbia and not even Harvard can produce a single soul who knew Narci outside of class. There are no old girl friends, no drinking buddys-nothing. Did he descend from heaven or pop out of a time machine? And could he shoot a caribou?

ReplyDeleteI follow Hillbuzz in Chicago rather closely. I trust Kevin Dujan's "gossip," which os popular opinion from Boystown in Chicago, and he seems to think Obama has a sordid reputation from certain "clubs." I think Obama's one of those empty suits who's been building a path to the White House and routinely covering his tracks to keep his personal information from leaking out.
Why else do we have no RECORDS of his, medical, academic, legal, (dare I say BIRTH)? If he has nothing to hide, why not reveal those things? Transparency is as far from his nature as possible.
You're right about all this and it's an interesting observation.
How is it possible in this age where nothing is private that this man has been able to maintain "privacy" in every aspect of his life? (The small people aren't afforded such luxury.)
He is a very mysterious individual. Sometimes when I watch what's happening with him, I feel like we're in a sci-fi novel, with this straw man as our leader. A straw man who represents a darker, more nefarious power monger behind the throne.
Gee, I wonder who that'd be.
