Christie needs to show some class

I could care less if Christie wants Palin for president or not. My point is, show some respect for her. She never uttered a bad word about the governor. He should reciprocate the respect and not let the liberal media frame how he should characterize Palin.
One day, Christie will be rudely awaken to a liberal media that will hate his guts. Everything is peachy so far. But just remember what happened to media darling Senator John McCain.
And over at Legal Insurrection Professor Jacobsen has a few ideas and maybe a change of mind. (A lot of the middle aged lawyers have been reluctant to endorse or encourage Palin.)

I've put forth the proposition that the best way to defeat Obama is to put forward a conservative but non-controversial candidate who will keep the election focused on Obama.  Because the Obama record and devolving persona are the equivalent of a death panel for Obama's reelection.
And nothing matters more than defeating Obama because the damage he is doing to the country is generational.
But as I reflect back on the past two plus years since Palin's nomination, I'm wondering if an all-out, knock-down, drag-out fight with the Palin haters is just what this country needs most, not least.  And whether that is just as likely to be successful in defeating Obama as the "safe" route.
Her interview while the turkey farmer works in the background, stuffing the turkeys into the head chopper while he watches her (apparently spellbound) is classic Palin. Undisturbed by the grit of life and sensibly continuing the interview without missing a beat, she is upbeat and encouraging, discussing the issues. It's also classic America; we can't quite stop staring at her and it's not just because of the way she looks. She has a way of getting under people's skin, good or bad, and nonchalantly continuing on whatever path she's chosen to walk. Liberals love to mock her because she isn't ivy league, she's beautiful, she has them figured out and she breaks the paradigm of what a strong woman should be, according to liberals. Witness the hysteria over her clubbing the fish. She's unperturbed. They're freaked. Classic Palin. Hysterical liberals.
