Normal becoming rare
In the new DSM, which is a manual used to define normal and not so normal behaviors, there's trouble percolating, as definitions are being used to expand unusual behavior. Why is this important? It will influence prescriptions, people's perception of who's, um, normal and who's not, AND, of course, the ADA accommodations that will be required for any kid who has, um oppositional defiance disorder. Yeah, that's a real diagnosis. For a teenager.
