NW Ohio Conservative Coalition Endorses Allegrini for Ohio District 47
4/4/2014, Toledo OH: The Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition (NWOCC) is pleased to endorse Scott Allegrini for the Republican candidate for Ohio House District #47 in the May 6, 2014 primary.
Mr. Allegrini has a continuous track record of conservative activism and will be a welcome addition to Ohio's House of Representatives. Scott has expressed his concern with the future of Ohio and the direction the current Representative, Barbara Sears has taken, particularly on the issue of Obamacare Medicaid Expansion. In 2011, Lucas and Fulton county voters joined with the other 86 Ohio counties and said NO to Obamacare by passing Ohio's Healthcare Freedom Amendment. In 2010 and 2012 we supported candidates who vowed to repeal Obamacare. On May 6th, we'll again say NO to Obamacare by sending a District 47 representative to Columbus who will fight against Obamacare, not work to implement it.
The NWOCC views that the use of Federal dollars under Obamacare increases the size and scope of government, using borrowed money and increasing the deficit. Ms. Sears was one of the architects of Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in Ohio and has accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from hospitals and healthcare lobbyists.
Scott maintains strong conservative values, supports limited government, and balances these values with compassion.
Mr. Allegrini's role as founder of Children of Liberty, his continuing involvement in conservative and liberty minded groups around NW Ohio, his "walking the talk" within his church, his relationship with his family, and his everyday lifestyle are actions and values that NWOCC looks for in a candidate.
We are pleased to endorse Scott Allegrini, and ask that you consider him for our District 47 representative.
