The LOVEINT violations involved overseas communications, officials said, such as spying on a partner or spouse. In each instance, the employee was punished either with an administrative action or termination.Sen. Dianne Feinstein said NSA told her committee about a set of “isolated cases” that have occurred about once a year for the last 10 years. She also said in the beginning of the scandal that no abuses have occurred but now we are expected to be happy that the abuses are "very rare". She said “in most instances” the violations didn't’t involve an American’s personal information which means, I guess, ones love life is not personal or that only employees involved in international relationships are prone to abuse the system.
Not to worry. The NSA has a "zero tolerance" policy for such malfeasance, the same policy that has worked so well in the nation's public schools. More.
