Karl Roves latest map shows no changes to either candidate's number of safe states but two states moved from "lean Obama" to "pure toss up". New Hampshire and Michigan are now toss ups. One might call this the Romney northern offensive as Romney has consistently increased the number of battleground states, forcing Obama to spend money to defend states that were thought to be a slam dunk. Repeating a point I have made earlier, the $91 million spent by the Obama campaign has not halted this decline while Romney has spent only $23 million.
