Pro lifers arrested at White House for praying

So I was saying to Hoosierman that I didn't think Rick Santorum should criticize Obama by saying his was a "phony" religion since only God knows what's in the heart of man.
But, OTOH, this incident gives one pause to reconsider Santorum's remark.
We are in a country where Occupiers can take over and trash someone's house, or a public park or private land, and yet no one is arrested or even asked to pay for the damages.
We are in a country where Tea Partiers can be assessed thousands of dollars for a 1 day use of a public park but Occupiers can squat in the same place, free of charge.
We are in a country where Tea Partiers can apply to the IRS to be a 501c3 and be denied but a vile group like Media Matters can harass news personalities, conservatives and Tea Partiers with impunity and with tax exempt status.
Now a group of pro-lifers have been arrested for praying in front of the White House. The crime? Praying?
Six people peacefully protested the Obama administration’s mandate requiring employers to provide contraceptives, sterilization, and abortion-producing drugs by kneeling in prayer in front of the White House, and they quickly were arrested and whisked away by U.S. Park police.

  1. I have no doubt that the Catholic bishops could recruit 10,000 people a day for a month to do the same. And don't bail them out.
