It just keeps getting worse! If you are totally disgusted with Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky's pedophilia and the school's cover up swallow hard and read on. It now appears that Sandusky was running a pedophile ring and pimped out underage boys to wealthy Penn State donors. Speaking on Pittsburgh radio Mark Madden, who wrote an article Sandusky a State Secret in the Beaver County Times said two prominent reporters are working on a story that will disclose that Sandusky's Second Mile Foundation was something of a sex ring used by Penn State donors for pedophile sex. Furthermore the incident was so well known in college football beyond Penn State that after he was fired Sandusky could never get another coaching job.
"When Sandusky quit, everybody knew; not just at Penn State. It was a very poorly kept secret around college football, in general. That is why he never coached in college football again and retired at the relatively young age of 55, young for a coach." Madden also called the Second Mile Foundation "the perfect cover" for Sandusky's scheme" More.

It had become part of the culture. This is incredible. We've seen this repeatedly in sports; overlook the crime, count the money, fan the flames of fandom.

Why do we want to defend abominable behavior, just because there's a ball, a score and a celebrity involved?
Throw in the district wide grade cheating scandal in Georgia and the voter registration scandal in Indiana where the only reason the Clinton and Obama campaigns cheated was because it was easier than doing it honestly, and I agrees our culture is on the way down.

ReplyDeletePSU had a pedophile-protector as counsel? Attorney Wendell Courtney was working for BOTH the school and the Second Mile in 1998, then was brought in to help Sandusky in 2009. He knows the deals that were made, such that they allowed Sandusky access to boys for TEN MORE YEARS!
