Evidence indicates that there is a certain detachment from reality.
- 1) In the
fake SOTUjobs speech before Congress, POTUS repeatedly used the phrase "pass this bill" in an attempt to create a meme for his followers. It was weird, unappealing and downright bizarre. Only Obama cultists would find it persuasive. So why did he do it? Over and over? And continues to do it? - 2) He failed to submit that same bill and others to Congress yet continually criticizes Congress for not passing bills he hasn't handed them.
- 3) He is using the increasingly unhinged language, such as the please "if ya love me" exchanged which seemed almost like a Sally Field Oscar acceptance speech. A sort of "I acknowledge my wonderfulness and I'm so glad you do to, at last." He also fails to reign in violent rhetoric such as Hoffas designation of those who don't want to pay for union raises as SOBs.
- 4) He will not discourage the failure of entities such as the DOJ and the NLRB to follow the rule of law or the principles of freedom and free trade
- 5) He keeps hinting at a desire to circumvent the present system of government by ignoring Congress and using the executive order to accomplish ends that are objectionable to the majority of the people of this country
- 6) He is detached from reality, repeating the same behavior over and over ie: Son of Stimulus. It didn't work with more money. What makes him think it'll work with less. Then he hits the road with the same old ideas.
- 7) He exhibits obsessive behavior: the use of social media in spite of its ineffectiveness; a fixation of so-called "green" initiatives which are proven to be too expensive and ineffective, ; in spite of a reputation for eloquence (which some suspect is simply the result of a TOTUS and a good speechwriter), he uses an increasingly annoying repetition of particular phrases such as "let me be clear," "change isn't easy," It won't happen overnight," "investment in our future," the latter of which usually ends up costing the taxpayers billions of dollars in foolish investments. Also obsessive are the numerous, NUMEROUS billboards, commercials and radio ads regarding various government giveaways, hectoring and lecturing nanny state disapprovals of current American habits.
- 8) His campaign is exhibiting a supercilious paranoia, such as the creation of the attackwatch.com website where voters are encouraged to tattle on their neighbors about disagreements with Barack Obama
- 9) He and his administration have an airhead attitude toward money; POTUS himself fails to reign in people who simply do not care about taxpayer dollars or the optics of wastefulness, such as Michelle's repeated use of jets 3 hours before her husband departs for vacation. Indeed their choices of vacation locations regardless of the current economy where most people are taking "staycations" indicate they simply doing not care what people think. They appear to think they are above the little guy. Most politicians at least try to act like they themselves are little guys and thus can relate.
- 10) POTUS displays an odd detachment, as if he does not or cannot care, when national emergencies strike. Either he fails to address the public, such as with the Detroit underwear bomber, or when he does, he's so aloof and his speech so disjointed that it is apparent he does not feel connected with the tragedy or its ramifications, such as when he gave his "lighthearted" "shoutout" before discussing the monstrous Fort Hood shooting.
- 11) In spite of warnings from his own party, he refuses to even triangulate, much less work with the opposition, instead choosing to run around the country accusing his opponents of various obaminations.
It's clear he's a narcissist, but what we are seeing now borders on delusion.
Add to this the rumors that he's clinically depressed, as Hoosierman has discussed previously.
Did he start to believe his own deification propaganda which continues to this day by cultists and is he now having difficulty facing the reality that he is indeed, only human?
Regardless, his behavior is downright weird.
