Surber: Manchin an honest politician?

Don Surber, again, on the Tea Party and Senator Joe Manchin:

For more than two years, the Tea Party tried to tell this administration to slow down on the spending.
Quit rewarding failure and punishing success, the Tea Party said.
The $787 billion stimulus program will not work and will only exacerbate the problem by increasing our debt, the Tea Party said.
Cut spending, the Tea Party said.
Instead of listening, the politicians in Washington dismissed the Tea Party as a bunch of ignorant racists.
They have been called angry, un-American (by Nancy Pelosi) and Hobbits (by John McCain).
Now these angry, un-American Hobbits are catching the blame for America losing its AAA credit rating from Standard & Poor’s.
Surber goes on to say that Manchin seems to be a good dude: he was on Cavuto today, talking about balancing his budget in West Virginia and the lack of leadership in Washington. Actually he seemed to be saying there is a lack of leadership at the top.
Think about that. An honest politician.

  1. If I didn't post it I meant to speculate on Manchin flipping to the Republican party.
