Perry & The NYT: and so it begins

Noting that the prayer event Rick Perry organized, possible Republican candidate for the presidency, will raise his profile nationally among conservative Christian voters, the NY Times has seen fit to make sure to criticize him for it and to point out that others are shocked that he would hold such an event. The headline at the NY Times:
Texas Governor Draws Criticism on Prayer Event
Whatever the goals, his plan has drawn strong protests from advocates for the separation of church and state, who say an elected leader should not be leading what looks to be, in effect, an evangelical Christian revival.
Also at the NY Times, somehow a writer has found a way to blame Palin for all the attention her emails are getting:

The debate over the exhaustive efforts to analyze the e-mails by news outlets like MSNBC.com, The New York Times and The Washington Post erupted on Friday with the kind of partisan ferocity that tends to accompany anything related to Ms. Palin.
Another near certainty whenever Ms. Palin is involved: a media spectacle.

  1. They really are scared to death of her. Just as Bannon said she is an existential threat to the establishment. She scares them more than the Taliban.
