Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski says the Fairness Doctrine will be removed from the Code of Federal Regulations. This action will,if
Genachowski is to be believed, put an end to speculation that the rule was to be revived.
"I fully support deleting the Fairness Doctrine and related provisions from the Code of Federal Regulations, so that there can be no mistake that what has been a dead letter is truly dead," wrote the chairman in letter to House Republicans. Sorry about that, Al Sharpton.
