Credible clowns Stewart, Colbert and Beck

  LA TImes publishes, with glee, an article about the so-called demise of the Beck tv show on FNC, quoting Harrison from Talkers:

"You can't be a rodeo clown and maintain credibility," said Michael Harrison, the editor of Talkers, a trade publication that follows the talk-radio industry.

  Are they serious?
  Do they not know the names Colbert? Stewart?
  Or is it only true that only conservatives can't be funny and credible at the same time?
  The article goes on to quote the Huffington Post and Media Matters and the like in opposition to Beck. Gee, what'd you think they'd say. Enjoy your moment, bubbas.
