Using fossil fuel is sinful

Cleaver. So many of these politicians hook into religion or whatever buzz lingo is current and then act like they are part of it. In this case, Cleaver acts like he really cares about Christianity's ideals and that's why we should ride our bikes rather than drive. I'm just waiting for the Dems' idea of what tea partiers are to swing around to the positive. They started saying we were astro-turf, then ill informed rednecks, then rich spoiled fat white guys, and now racists and hatemongers. At some point, they're going to try to sweeten their message because it ain't workin' now and there're too many of "us."

“When you realize how much fossil fuel we use, it is sinful,” Cleaver told reporters on Capitol Hill. “I do know what is in the Bible, and we are, it is declared by--that the Sun and the Earth is the Lord’s, in the fullness thereof, meaning everything that is in it.  And that means that we are stewards that must take care of God’s Earth.”
