Ellie Light, MULTIPLIED

We've covered the story of "Ellie Light," a suspected project of The One's ongoing campaign. It bubbled up in the blogosphere, originating in Cleveland, ran about a week or two and then died down when so-called "Ellie Light," who wrote numerous newspapers around the United States claiming to be a local resident upset with the terrible treatment The One receives, was discovered to be a modest male nurse in California. Numerous other copied letters from a few names were discovered all around the country by Patterico and his readers.
Now Big Government has discovered the astro-turf methods of The One's virtual campaign machine. Let's admit it. He's never been the President of the United States. He's always been the president of the liberal left wing of this country. Clink here for the link to Big Journalism:

I could keep going, but you get the point. By my count, that’s 72 local papers in all that were duped into publishing OFA talking points (some more than once).
This campaign, organized by the Director of OFA and promoted by the President himself, is a clear case ofAstroturfing (fake grassroots). That would be bad enough, but the fact that the most popular talking point appears to have been plagiarized makes it even more shocking.
As I recall, a few months ago there was a lot of talk about Republican nihilism, i.e. that the right would stop at nothing to win. In light of this nationwide effort by OFA, I think we can now ask the corollary: Is there any level to which the President and his supporters won’t stoop for a win?
